On Sunday I had the feeling that something exciting was going to happen.
Clue number one was that I had to get dressed up!
Mom said we were going to have a Baby Shower for her cousin.
“Does this mean I’ll get to play with Babies?” – Me
“Not quite, but there will be cupcakes & diapers” – Mom
So I parked myself on the couch and waited for these so called cupcakes & diapers to arrive.
And I waited.
And then just as I was getting really tired of waiting…
The cupcakes arrived! (I may or may not have licked a few…..shhhh!)
In fact, lots of food arrived. I tried my best to look awfully cute so that the mom-to-be would send some treats my way, but it didn’t quite work out as planned.
So instead I took a break from party mode and took a nap on the couch for a while.
I instantly perked up though when I heard we were gonna play some party games. “Games? I love games!”
“Someone help me cut my ribbon so I can guess how big the baby belly is!”
Then the highlight of my day….the diapers arrived! And you’ll never guess what. There was melted chocolate inside of them……sweet glorious day.
Apparently it was for some game where you have to guess which melted chocolate bar is inside the diaper. I think I need to brush up on my chocolate bars, because I failed miserably….even with a few taste tests!
Sigh. All in all I had a fabulous day, but when it was all said and done I had one question to ask.
“Mom, where do babies come from?”
OMG Ammo, you look so handsome in your bowtie…and you are such a good boy to go to a baby shower.
I was just bummed there was no babies to play with. I LOVE babies! At least there was one little girl there….she even read me a story that mom pulled off the bookshelf!
It looks like all you waiting paid off. What a nice party. And as far as the cupcakes…..what they don’t know won’t hurt them 🙂
Ammo, when I saw the word “diapers”, I thought you were wearing diapers! Poopy chocolate diapers are right up your alley…being so fond of poop and all. And I hope you were lucky enough to snag a cupcake! Glad you had a good time.

ooh what a lovely party! some day u will have to tell me what a diaper really tastes like because duk duk thinks i might like them a lot considering i like to partake of the kitty box! 🙂 b
Hey Baxter…..let me tell you diapers & kitty boxes are nothing compared to the “presents” the ponies leave me at the farm. You don’t know what you’re missing!
Ammo is so handsome with the yellow ribbon around him. Kinda like Emma when we have party at home. She will be doing the exact same thing like Ammo. Looking cute in the hope that someone will feed her, which they always do.
