An average weekend for me is probably actually not that average. See my family is always on the go go go, and one weekend adventure always leads to another.
Most days always start out on the farm, with my daily farm chores like feeding the ponies and making sure everything is in order.
Then usually it’s out to lunch – always at a dog friendly dining establishment!
Then it’s off to burn some calories by going on a hike!
On the way home we make a pit-stop at the hardware store to pick up supplies for more weekend projects.
I take a quick rest, because I know we’ll be stopping for ice cream on the way home too.
With all these weekend adventures it’s no wonder that by the time I arrive home again I look like this! And it’s not even bedtime yet!
I can’t complain though, because weekend adventures are the best!

My doxies, Bryar and Ms. Daisy LOVE to run around on the weekend also. My husband takes our 2 dachshunds and Buddy, a chocolate lab to the bank every Saturday am – and the teller gives them all a treat! Life is good isn’t it Ammo!

Ammo I also go on great adventures like you from restaurants…to shopping…banking….great walking adventures….I’m even going to Kings Dominion next week….I’ll send ya a pic buddy;)…love reading your blogs…nice to know ya have great parents like mine…:)
Being a dog is grand isn’t it! Where can you go in Kings Dominion that’s dog friendly? You’ve peaked my interest.
There is a cool best western that allows dogs for no fee and the receptionist said at night dogs can visit the shop areas and their pool. My folks can ride a roller coaster..walk over to hotel walk me..feed me…enjoy sometime..then take me to pool later and to the shops for ice cream @ KD. We hope other dogs are there too for me to socialize with …especially at the pool. Wish I could go in daytime to pool…but hey time away with my family is always cool no matter what we do…can’t wait to sleep in a A.C room being pampered watching dog whisperer…send ya a pic of my adventures buddy;)
Sounds like fun! I think I stayed at the same hotel a couple years ago. Only I was there to compete in a talent contest with my pony Minnow at the nearby horse park. But I could see the amusement park from my room!
If it had a Dennys…yup…same one!!! Can’t wait…have my clothing and busy bones packed…hoping to a visit in with the cousins while down there..2 labs…we should ask Kings Dominion to have a total doggy day…and have doggy vendors set up shop with current vendors…that would be so awesome…you could be our guest visitor. ..lol
