It’s Spring time. And if there is one thing that goes hand in hand with Spring…..it’s baths for your furry friends. Being a lover of all things stinky myself, I’m all too familiar with the bathtub this time of year. It’s a good thing my new friends over at Wag and Ramble sent me some of their handmade all natural pet soap to take for a whirl.
I picked out their Peppermint and Lemongrass soap, but it also comes in Lavender/Eucalyptus & Lavendar/Lemongrass as well.
As much as I prefer the smell of stinky stuff, I have to admit this soap did smell pretty nice.
And if I have to endure bath time, then I guess I might as well enjoy the scent!
My mom tried two different methods to applying bar soap to me during bath time (since previously I had only ever used liquid soap). First she applied to to a wash cloth and then rubbed it on my fur.
Then she applied the bar directly to me.
The direct approach seemed to work best…..and it didn’t take much soap to get me smelling great.
It’s a shame you can’t convey smells through the internet, because after my bath I smelled oh-so-fresh!
And I guess it’s not so bad…..although the scent of dirt and horse poo is still my favorite! Once bath time is over there is only one last thing to do…..
….roll around until that good smelling stuff is on something else other than you!

Oh Ammo, I got excited as soon as I saw this post was about soap. I just knew there would be cute pictures of you getting a bath. I was expecting more suds, but I guess that’s just the soap. I bet you’ll be putting this soap to good use this spring, as you roll in all kinds of stinky stuff!
Oh Ammo, I’ve had to bathe my dachshund already because she rolled in something on a walk. Smellie dog. We sure could use that soap.
Usually she rolls around on top of her treats, which smell good to her…not always to the rest of us!
Barbarella rolls in bugs. I don’t know why, but it’s funny. After I give her a bath she loves to roll in the carpet. We use liquid soap but it would be nice to try some bar soap for a change. You look cute rolling on the floor Ammo 🙂
My dog loves to roll in cat poop when she’s outside. It’s so gross and she gets baths often.
I am actually pretty lucky that my pup doesn’t roll in stinky stuff a lot. And whatever it is, I can’t see it.

Bean rolls in pretty much anything. Her affinity for finding old poo to roll in is always fun to deal with!
My Marley rolls in anything stinky outside lol like bird poop -_- bird poop is her favorite lol
Poop lol…or just fresh cut grass…
My dog doesn’t spend much time outside, but he likes to roll on the grass, or the just plain dirt. He also rolls on our carpet, which is like dog hair heaven. (And Ammo, you are so adorable and funny!)
My dog loves rolling in goose poop and anything else stinky he can find.
He rolls in the grass which can sometimes have stinky things in it
