Now that I’m the coolest big brother ever, it’s come to my attention that to be EVEN cooler (if that’s even possible), that I need to practice my “nursery rhymes”. My sister likes when I “sing” to her, and she likes it even more when I dig holes. Well, this is perfect, because I have just the song to sing her in preparation of Spring (aka Groundhog season).
Heigh-Ho
A “Cooler” Version by Ammo
I dig dig dig dig dig dig dig in my hole the whole day through
To dig dig dig dig dig dig dig is what I really like to do
It ain’t no trick to get groundhogs quick
If you dig dig dig with a paw or a pick
In a hole! In a hole! In a hole! In a hole!
Where a million groundhogs live!
I dig dig dig dig dig dig dig from early morn till night
I dig dig dig dig dig dig dig up everything in sight
I dig up groundhogs by the score
A thousand critters, sometimes more
But I don’t know what I dig ’em for
I dig dig dig a-dig dig
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho
Much better than the original song, right?
And don’t worry, if I ever get tired of digging, I can bring in reinforcements. Happy Digging!
Does your dog like to dig as much as me?
HAHAHA!! Love the reinforcements! Ammo, you are hilarious! XXX000
Love your little song.
Awesome!
That is definitely a cooler version Ammo! Mini loves to dig too. Just this morning she was digging for a gopher! And she loves digging for and going down after armadillos.
Hiya Ammo!!! Well, it’s good to have a goal, lol. But please be kind to the groundhogs, they’re one of my favorite animals. Don’t know if you’ve ever heard of it or not, but around here, the older folks, when I was growing up, called them “whistle pigs”. I know, sounds silly, but it is what it is. And I kinda love them. Looks like you’ve got a real steady reinforcer there too. Have a great day, we loves ya. Hugs!!! Pam, Misty, and Rio
Love your song! I bet your sister loves to hear you sing!!
Hi Ammo, I can see why Baby P likes to see you dig – I love the pic of you digging, you can see the dirt fly!
haahhah… Lolzz… cute song and perfectly suited to him.
Haha Love this.

Oh yes! Me me! I LOVE to dig! It’s one of my most favorite things to do. I’ve dug in lots of armadillo holes and gopher holes. I even dig my own holes and find worms! I mostly find the worms that are called grub worms, and let me tell you, they taste so yummy!
