Yes, over the weekend my mom brought me home a brand new bone! I can’t even begin to tell you how long it’s been since I’ve had a bone. I think mom’s starting to feel guilty about leaving me home next week when she takes Minnow to Chincoteague Island for the annual Pony Penning. I’m not going to say the new bone makes up for this, because it doesn’t, but it is a good start.
Of course the first thing I did with my new bone was to try to take it outside for a good old fashioned burying. However, there was a little snag in my plan.
Sigh. I’m thinking things would have gone a lot smoother had I gotten out my Super Cape.
What a great video! Does Ammo remember where he buries his treats? My Jeeves never had a yard so he would remember which sofa or rug he ‘buried’ his bone in.
Melinda and, in spirit, Jeeves
Yup! I always remember where I bury them….be it sofa, under pillows, or in the back yard!
oh ammo, what a great gift from your mom! i have never seen such a big bone. and you eat it all by yourself?

ps: no, i think you are a lot cuter than me! and cooler too. because i don’t have such a super cape!
Poor little Ammo, you zigged when you should have zagged!
Aww, poor Ammo. You tried and tried. You kept wagging your tail, which is essential to any dachshund activity. You backed up further and further to get a running start. I hope you eventually made it outside! 🙂
oh, we love your bone, looks tasty!
That is funniest video I’ve seen in a long time. I hope Ammo finally figured out that only needed to eat a few more inches of that rawhide before he would make it through the door.
Don’t worry, I ate that thing to pieces and then buried the remainder in the backyard to save for a later date! No one will ever find it!
