You might remember that I told you all last month that I’m really not much of a morning dog. I drag my feet to get out of bed, and most of the time Mom has to make me go outside for my morning potty break before work.
So today I thought I’d show what actually happens when my feet hit the floor.
Once I’m finally up and at-em I’m ready to get down to business.
Sprinting out the door I gotta make sure there is no unwanted critters hiding in my yard. They tend to like to sneak in overnight.
Today I got to scare a bird off – it was quite exciting.
Then it’s time for my morning shake, before I take a lap around the yard to check for more intruders.
Only today Mom is taking pictures of me. My plans have changed.
It’s back inside to stare at my cookie jar, because…..
.. “Mom I came inside all by myself and you didn’t even have to call me, I’m pretty sure I deserve cookies for that.”
I’d like to see Ammo in his bed, attempting to be woken up. 🙂
Maybe I’ll talk mom into filming my morning ritual someday soon. 🙂
My Swift has his morning ritual, too. He shakes off the sleepies, then does his morning calisthenics. I swear he’s trying to make himself longer by stretching out his body every morning!
ammo’s posts always make me chuckle, Indy has to do the “perimeter sweep” too, very dutiful dachsies
