I’m always on the lookout for sturdy and good looking Pet Id Tags, so when Sleepypod offered me the chance to test out their Pendants I jumped at the chance!
Sleepypod Pendants are made of jewelry-grade, 100% stainless steel or 18k gold-plated metal. They chose to use stainless steel and gold as the base metals because they are hypoallergenic and do not harbor germs. The pendants are available in small and medium sizes in six shapes: Sheep, Chick, Lion, Whale, Elephant, and Stegosaur.
These ID tags aren’t your average tag, these things are built to last – boasting a 2mm thickness. I should know after I tested their durability down a couple of groundhog holes already!
I chose the small whale in stainless steel and the medium stegosaur in stainless steel.
The larger tags would be great for bigger breed dogs, or they can also be attached to a harness, leash, or even a pet carrier. You can even choose to hang them around your neck as a charm or even use them on your keyring.
All the tags are engraveable on the back with 2 lines and up to 15 characters. I had mine engraved with my name and telephone number.
