Because sleep is highly underrated, I couldn’t leave you hanging this month without sharing my new collection of places that I like to sleep. Here’s a few of my napping spots from the past month…

Never a dull (sleeping) moment at my house!
The 9th picture from the top of you sleeping reminds me of the way Mini sleeps. There is no limit to how many different ways or places a dachshund can find to nap in. Dachshunds are experts when it comes to the art of napping.
Is the item that is black and yellow and shows up the most in your pictures “your black and yellow collar”?
Actually I didn’t count how many times I was wearing that collar in my naps! But it’s not my favorite thing to cuddle with. This item was a little more “buzz” to it. 😉
A sleeping dachshund is always a happy thing to see. And you do it so well (and in interesting ways and places)! With the hint that the popular item was yellow and black I thought of the bee but I also noticed that your superhero cape was a close second.

Oh so cute! Shasta is right there with you! Though we caught the sleeping at BlogPaws and Shasta only wishes he was that relaxed!! He did sleep a couple of times on the floor. 🙂
Hehe. Took me a day to get that relaxed, but when you gotta nap, you gotta nap!
Ammo – I don’t know how your parents get anything done. If I had all the cuteness sleeping around me, I’d want to curl up with you and take a nap too.

I have a chiweenie who sleeps on his back most of the time. His head is tilted to one side and he looks so cute! 🙂
I know that sleepy position well….it usually works for getting free belly rubs too!
