The other day while out on a walk through the park I spotted something that made me a little crazy.
I claim it was a squirrel, mom thinks it was a leaf, and we pretty much agree to disagree.
We may never really know what was up that tree for sure, but it sure was fun trying to catch it!
Does your dog like to chase things up trees? Any brave squirrel hunters in this group?

Ammo, you and my dachshund would get along great. She is the best squirrel chaser. She will stand out in the rain looking up a tree just waiting for a squirrel. And when they sneak down she will get chase all around the yard. And I think you’re right. It was a squirrel.

My Sissy chases the squirrel several times during the course of the day,,,I think the squirrel laughs at her sometimes,,lol

We walk Sam in the woods behind our house and there are millions of squirrels there. Sam thinks he can climb trees to get them!
It was definitely a squirrel per my Daisy. She said they’re sneaky little devils. Her & her 2 brothers spend most of the day outside in the yard chasing squirrels. And I really think it’s always 2 of our ‘regulars’ so we named them. It drives them CRAZY!!!
We don’t have squirrels where I live, but heaven help the cotton tail bunnies. They are run to exhaustion in our yard by my 5 doxies. ha-
I would like to be able to say that my Roxton is a Mighty squirrel Hunter too. However that would be wrong. The only thing he chases is his treats when I throw them
Squirrels come up right behind my doxie Jolie. Its like they are mocking her.
