Just yesterday mom snapped this photo of me while Dad was working on a project at the shop. Some may be surprised that I was able to nap through a power drill right by my bed, but there is a really good reason as to why this sort of thing doesn’t bother me. See, my mom and dad are artists and DIYers, which means that power tools are pretty much NO BIG WOOF to me anymore.
I made it through an entire Kitchen remodel in 2015.
I helped with excavation on the farm.
I helped Trooper with his post and beam house in 2012.
I helped lay radiant flooring.
And on my VERY first day with my new family I helped build fencing.
So yup, power tools are NO BIG WOOF.
Now vacuum cleaners ….that’s a whole other story. 
Hey Ammo – I can’t believe after all your construction experience that you’re still afraid of the vacuum cleaner! I can pretty much guarantee that your parents won’t try to suck you up into the vacuum cleaner. If for no other reason, you’ll have to put on your Brave Face for Baby P. Can’t have her growing up afraid of the V. cleaner. BTW – that photo of little baby Ammo is too precious! I’m going to have to go back and look at some earlier blogs. XXX 000
Yes. I’ve sadly passed on my fear of the vacuum to Baby P too! Mom blames us for the reason our house is always super dirty! ?
My significant other is a carpenter so our Doxie is not afraid of powertools, however the vacuum is another thing. 🙂
I hear you! That vacuum is super scary! I mean who’s to say it won’t suck up little dachshunds!
Vacuum cleaners freak our Buddy out! But, like Ammo, he can handle most other noises. Why is that?
Ammo is also afraid of gun shots and smoke/fire (but that is rational) – but he’s also become afraid of us cooking dinner now too!! Maybe we are bad cooks? Oddly enough though Pyper is so fearless yet she’s terrified of the vacuum as well!
When I finish vacuuming the house; Buddy will start licking the vacuum!! So strange! Wish I could read his mind!
Guess you’ll have more take-out dinners in your future to keep the peace!?
Oh no!! Ammo just disclosed a weakness in his Super Hero Armor. Who would have thought that a vacuum cleaner was Ammo’s kryptonite?
