Halloween has always been sort of a big deal at my house. My parents have helped me hand-make many elaborate costumes over the years and we always throw an elaborate party at my house. This year was no exception. So without further ado, I give you my 2017 Halloween costume…
King Candy from Candyland!
All mom had to say was that I get to wear a crown and carry a cool scepter and I was on board.
But Candyland isn’t quite as fun without someone to help you rule the land.
So Princess Lolly made an appearance as well!
Princess Lolly was minus her crown (because to no ones surprise she hated how it messed up her hair), but she did come bearing candy (aka dog cookies).
We had a blast making our way to the Candy Kingdom.
Until someone ran out of “candy” and suddenly neither of us cared who got to the castle first.
But the adventure along the way was the best part anyway.

omg, I just love the pictures! We recently had to help our 17 yo dachshund, Andy, cross the Rainbow Bridge and I miss him every day. Dachshunds are great little dogs but Andy would never let me dress him up like this. haha
