So today when I got to work there was a surprise package for me waiting at the shop. I’m no stranger to getting mail at the shop, but this was an unexpected package.

When I opened it up it was filled with goodies from the Polka Dog Bakery at Target! And there was a letter from Bullseye the Target Dog saying he noticed my post online and wanted to send me a couple of his favorite Polka Dog Products.

I was totally blushing that Bullseye even knew my name!! And then I realized there was really only one thing to do when a package of goodies arrives at the shop……FASHION SHOW!

Somehow Bullseye knew that all the Polka Dog products would match perfectly with my Super Hero Cape too.

Of course I broke into the box of cookies before anything else!

Every Super Hero needs to accessorize and these Polka Dog items are just so fun and vibrant that they make me the happiest Hero around.

The Polka Dog Bakery at Target

It’s no secret that I love to shop (who doesn’t?), and I’m always so excited when I find a super cool new product or shop.

Recently Target stores across the country launched The Shops, which is a collection of products from local boutique stores like Cos Bar, Privet House, The Candy Store, The Webster, and my personal favorite The Polka Dog Bakery. So just like any good dog mom, my mom headed to Target yesterday to check it out for me while I waited in the car (since sadly I couldn’t sneak in myself). Each store varies in their merchandise, but you can check out most of their collection online.

Of course just scoping out the new products isn’t enough – you have to physically test the merchandise!

So mom came home with a Dog Toy and a box of cookies for me to try.

If you can’t tell by the look on my face, it was a glorious day!

My ice cream sandwich may have not tasted like the real thing, but it was fantastic just the same.

Not only did it squeak, but it was filled with stuffing too!

I eventually broke a hole in my ice cream sandwich, so it doesn’t squeak anymore – but it’s still just as fun to play with. Plus, mom says I look super adorable when I nibble on it.

Later mom let me snack on some of the Polka Dog Bakery treats, which were an all-natural chicken flavor.

They get an A++ from me for yumminess! In fact, I’m so in love with my Polka Dog Bakery items that I’m already trying to convince mom to raid all of the Target’s in my area for more fun items from the collection.

When Huskies Get Wet

The other day I took my friend Shilah the Husky puppy on a walk to take her first dip in a stream. An important adventure in a young pup’s life!

Shilah was quite intrigued by the mud at first – do you blame her? Mud is pretty awesome!

Then Shilah spotted the water – and eventually took her first dip….because I pushed her in! Ok just kidding, I didn’t push her, but I did kinda think about it. hehe.

I’ll admit – not bad for a first swim, but she has a lot to learn!

Good thing I’m around to teach her the ways of the World.

After Shilah’s little dip we did some rock climbing – it’s what all the cool kids are doing these days.

I’m sure after our rock climbing adventure Shilah thought I was pretty cool, but she hadn’t seen anything yet.

Yeah, what can I say, I’m a daredevil at heart.

But mom says from now on I have to wear my helmet if I’m going to give her a heart attack with my dare devilish ways. I guess that’s a pretty even trade, considering I look totally awesome in my stunt helmet.

A Case of the Mondays

My Mondays are a bit different than most people’s because I have the day off from work! But just because I don’t have to go into the “office” doesn’t mean I don’t have lots to do.

On this particular Monday after feeding my ponies on the farm I did some shopping with mom.

On my Lowes stop I picked up some things for my garden. Mom let me pick out some plants to grow in my magic horse poop garden – and I can’t wait until they get big enough to eat! Yum.

Then it was off to my agility class with my friends!

I love everything about agility training; running fast, jumping, going through obstacles…

….and don’t get me started on the treats! Mom comes armed with a bag full of string cheese – makes me wish I could go to class everyday!

But as much as I love agility training there is one thing I HATE about going to class.

My crate! I’ve never liked being in a crate, what can I say….this boy needs freedom to roam. So unlucky for me, mom has decided it’s about time I get used to being in one since there might be cases I have to sit in it and wait patiently.

Patiently, huff! I’m totally not above barking and crying until they unlock me from this fortress of doom. Who’s with me? Crate haters unite!

Puppy Play Date

Lately I’ve been making a whole bunch of new doggie friends, what can I say, I’m a popular guy. Last weekend me and my new pals had a play date in my back yard.

This is my new friend Shilah. She’s a 12 week old Husky puppy and she’s oh-so-pretty with her piercing blue eyes.

I was a bit shy when I met Shilah for the first time, but in no time we were running around my backyard playing my favorite game – Chase!

Shilah is a sweet girl, and I think we’re going to be pals for a long long time.

Me and Shilah were having such a grand time running around the backyard that we attracted the attention of my new next door neighbor, Harley.

Harley I believe is a 16 week old – cute as can be – Rottweiler puppy.

Shilah and I both agreed that our friend Harley should come over and play with us too.

But, just because I’m tiny doesn’t mean I can’t play with the big dogs. Me, Harley and Shilah had a blast wrestling and running around the back yard. And the girls quickly learned that I’m the fastest wiener dog on the block!

By the end of our play date the girls were completely worn out.

Beginner Dog Agility Classes

If you follow me on Facebook, then you probably already know that I’ve been taking a beginner dog agility class. With 5 classes under my belt now my Dad came to watch me at class last night – which also means I now have video proof that I’m a kick-butt agility star. Plus I know you have all been dying to see me hop around the course in my cute yellow jacket. *wink*
