Birthday Week: Ammo turns 3!

ammo the dachshund's birthday week Welcome to Birthday Week! On October 5th I turn 3 years old, and since I think Birthdays are super amazing (especially mine), we’re going to celebrate ALL-WEEK-LONG!

I’m really just hoping that means I get presents and treats all week long too, but regardless I think it will be a really fun bash! I’ve even got some fun prizes for my “guests” (that’s you btw) and some super cool DIY stuff to share! So make sure you check in everyday (and sometimes twice a day), because this is gonna totally be a blast in a ~~glass~~ bowl.

So stick around for the fun, and make sure you check back later today when we really get the bash going!

Friday Fetch: Bambi & Friends

bambi and friends Halloween is just around the corner and it seems as if everyone already has their costumes picked out! I’m embarrassed to say that I still don’t know what I want to be yet.

Dogs like Bambi from Hope Images seem to effortlessly pull off the perfect costume. I’m a wee bit jealous, although to be fair, I really don’t want to dress up like a hot dog – the most obvious solution.

Doe-eyed Bambi here kinda makes me want to run into the forest and bring home a few fawns to call my own. Isn’t she just precious?

Friday Fetch: Pet Calendars

I’m probably pretty accurate when I say most people (and dogs with a busy schedule like me) check a calendar every day of their lives. How else are you going to remember ~~vet appointments~~ play dates, personal appearances, and trips to the pet store?

Well since your calendar is probably your most looked at item, it only makes sense that it should be full of pet swagger! Even though 2012 isn’t here JUST yet, I’ve gathered up some super cool pet-themed calendars from Paper Source.

Wild Ride

Holy Cannoli! Boy did I have a busy weekend!

This picture of me and Trooper pretty much sums up the adventurous weekend I had. Don’t worry, I didn’t actually have to ride a bull, but I did have to entertain lots of children (and adults), sniff a whole bunch of dog butts, eat funnel cake, and I even ran through an agility course…twice!

Dog Days of Summer

Hey Pals! Today and tomorrow I’m hanging out at the Chadd’s Ford Historical Society Dog Days of Summer II event! From 10am – 5pm I’ll be mixing and mingling with all my friends (and doing a few tricks too with my pal Minnow the Painting Pony).

Ludwigs Day 2

I’ll admit, after Day 1 at the Ludwigs Corner Horse Show I was a little tired. It’s hard being adorable all the time.

But, mom brought out the big guns (aka chicken) and I was more than happy to show everyone my favorite tricks!

Not trying to brag, but no one plays dead like I do!

Minnow drew a crowd too with his amazing painting skills……but really…..I stole the show!

Ludwigs Day 1

I spent my Labor Day weekend hanging out with my good pal, Minnow the Painting Pony at the Ludwigs Corner Horse Show. Our Mission – to make all the BIG & LITTLE kids laugh and giggle.

I’m not gonna lie, Minnow did most of the work on the first day. Not that I didn’t help – I just used my skills in a different way.

I used my stunning good looks and overall cuteness to attract a crowd.

You see, I’m utterly irresistible when I wear my stunt helmet.

After I drew in the crowd it was up to Minnow to entertain everyone with his amazing painting skills and super awesome tricks. I jumped in here and there with some of my awesome stunts – but I really got into the swing of things on Day 2, which you’ll hear all about tomorrow!

Come meet me today and tomorrow at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show ! Minnow & I are going to be doing tricks all day long!

You can catch us on Saturday from 10 – 2pm (Minnow will do a special painting at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm) and on Sunday from 11 – 4pm (Minnow will do a special painting at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm).

Adventure Ahead

I bet you’re wondering what kind of adventures I’m up to today!

Since you asked so politely, I’ll tell you. I’m busy packing, because me and Minnow the Painting Pony are headed to an event this weekend.

We’re going to have a booth at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show on Saturday AND Sunday! Minnow & I are going to be doing tricks all day long, and we’re both bringing some of our famous paintings that will be available to purchase. I’m even bringing my Christmas cards!

We hope you’ll be able to make it, so I can meet all my friends in person!

But don’t worry, even if you can’t make the event – I always bring back lots of pictures and video! And don’t forget, I’ll be at the Chadds Ford Dog Days of Summer II event next weekend! Yeah!
