So I did a little research (ok ok, I just searched for it on webmd) and I found out that Chlorella is a type of algae that grows in fresh water and is used to make supplements and medicine.

So I decided to give it a whirl as I couldn’t find any serious side effects from taking it (other than your #2’s might turn green – don’t be alarmed if they do). These little green pills don’t really smell like anything but be aware they aren’t your average “dog cookie” as in they don’t taste like bacon, sausage, hot dogs, or any other thing that I’d typically want to be eating. So for the picky eaters you might have to hide them in SAID hot dog, I’m sure the non-picky eaters wouldn’t complain if it was in a hot dog either.
I’m not a picky eater, so I’ve been happily gobbling up my Rejuv-a-wafers each morning with my breakfast for the past week.
Mom said she noticed that I’ve been a bit more rambunctious at work lately, although I’m not sure she totally appreciated my cardboard shredding antics. At 5 years old I may not need the added energy boost, but I think the older dogs out there would greatly benefit from the little pep in their step from the rejuv-a-wafers. Life on my family horse farm can be quite peaceful. I enjoy spending a lot of my time around the ponies – just quietly soaking in all the sounds and smells of the farm.
Yes – it CAN BE quite peaceful. But other days, there are groundhogs to hunt!
On these days, peaceful and quiet is not an option, as I’m sure you understand!
Yesterday morning on the farm a cool mist of fog rolled in over the hills.
All the horses amidst a backdrop of fogginess had such an ominous look about them.
Including my pal Spider the Kitten.
Mom said the foggy sky must have brought out the feisty in Spider.
I have to admit, she had a crazier than normal look in her eye.
But when I inspected her thoroughly ….
…and sniffed every square inch…
….I couldn’t find anything that smelled like feisty! Nope, just regular old Spider.
Feisty smelling or not, excitement abounds whenever Spider has the look of fire in her eyes!
Yipeee!
Oh Happy day! It’s getting warmer and warmer out at the farm, which means I’m getting to have a lot more fun with my kitty friends.
Hey Spider! Want to play jungle animals? You can be the Tiger and I’ll be the Lion. We can go on Safari together!
Humm. It’s a nice try Spider, but you’re being a little too “pretty” for a Tiger.
Yeah, that’s it. Blend in, so we can hunt for Safari creatures!
And then pounce when they least expect it!
I just wish you hadn’t gotten sooo great at blending in when we play Jungle animals….
….because really….where are you?
Yesterday I got to do some scampering around the farm with my two favorite kitties, Cricket and Spider, before work.
I still don’t understand how Cricket is perfectly fine in the chilly barn without a sweater and I have to wear TWO winter coats, and I’m still cold! Do you think that makes me a Pansie?
Even little itty bitty Spider has no problem with the Winter air. I’m beginning to think something is wrong with me…..I swear I’m not an “indoor dog”.
oh look, so cute.
Sometimes I worry about what Cricket is teaching Spider when I’m not around. I mean just look…..they’re both practicing their sneak attacks – on me!
I just wish they wouldn’t practice on me while I’m “compromised”. Can’t a dog relieve himself in private?
