Disclaimer: This review and giveaway is sponsored by Clear Conscience Pet.
My friends over at Clear Conscience Pet recently sent over some of their Sliders for me to try out. Their Sliders line of tender meat features all-natural and wholesome ingredients like USDA inspected chicken and beef along with natural cheddar cheese, organic flaxseed and air dried vegetables.
They contain no grain, gluten, glycerin, artificial preservatives or flavoring and no GMO ingredients.
I’m not entirely sure what all that means, but I do know that the package smelled so delish that I could hardly wait to break it open!
The 4oz bag of chicken and cheddar Sliders came in these bite-sized pieces that were perfect to use as training treats as they were easy to tear. Mom even brought some along to my agility classes to use.
The individually packaged Sliders were bigger and juicier, and much better used as a special after dinner snack.
And if you’re wondering how I liked them, I’m pretty sure my eyes in this photo say it all!

Lets face it, personalized art is just oh so much fun – add a dog to that and it’s totally got my tail wagging!
With a selection of 24 tail-wagging dog breeds, you can celebrate the arrival of a new pet or honor a longtime family friend with a customized pen-and-ink pet drawing from Grandin Road. You can also get personalized cat portraits too!
Last weekend on the farm we had some lingering snow, the kind of snow that was perfect for snowballs! Trooper and I wasted no time in having a little game out of who could catch the most.
After a few failed attempts on my part to catch said snowballs (it would probably help if I opened my eyes when trying to catch them), it was evident that Trooper was going to come out on top with this one.
What can I say, my best friend is a natural!
You know as much as we all want to complain about the winter with all the snow and the cold, there is just something magical about running through the snow, catching snowballs, and bundling up until you can hardly move!
Even our farm neighbor, Bella the Bernese Mountain Dog decided to stop by for some wintertime fun!
Unfortunately despite all my winter gear, I still lack the natural winter protection that my friend Bella is so blessed with. So I was off to the car to warm up for a bit!
Sorry Bella, our winter fun will have to wait until I thaw out some!
Just before the end of the year my mom helped me put together a bunch of new greeting cards featuring photographs that she’s taken of me over the past few months.
Well now that they have come back from the printers, I’ve added them to my online etsy shop, Flying Hero!
You can check out these designs and more by visiting my Etsy Shop, Flying Hero. They’re so cute you could even frame them (after you send them to all your friends of course!)
And because I wanted to say thanks for all the support over the years, use code YAY2014 to receive 20% off your purchase of $10 or more! (coupon expires 1/27/14)

My friends over at Noodle and Friends recently sent me one of their new microfleece sweaters to test out. They must have known that it’s been bitterly cold here in Pennsylvania, reaching into the single digit temperatures just last week!
This “Stroodle” as it’s called, was just what I needed to give me that extra added warmth in this cold weather.
The Noodle Stroodle is a luxe microfleece lounging sweater designed just for dachshunds. Like a second skin, it’s perfect for indoor lounging, napping and playing when your thermostat might be set a bit too low (which according to us dachshunds is ALL THE TIME).
I’m wearing the medium size, which surprisingly fit my chest and under belly perfectly and it isn’t even hard to get into at all. It’s hard to find a dachshund fleece that fits our bodies so snuggly.
The Stroodle comes in 4 sizes and colors from petal pink, sky blue (which is what I’m wearing), cherry red, and navy blue.
The Stroodle was so comfy, that I was ready for nap time almost instantly.
Even though the Stroodle is designed to be an indoor lounging coat, I’ve find it to be quite useful as an extra layer when I’m on the farm.
Wearing the Stroodle under my Noodle and Friends Blizzard Parka gives me that extra warmth I need to be on the farm helping with chores.
Ok well maybe chores isn’t the right word, hunting expeditions might be more like it!
Disclaimer: This review and giveaway is a sponsored post by Born Pretty.
The website, Born Pretty, recently launched a new line of pet products and asked if I would like to test some of them out.
I browsed through their online shop which had a lot of variety of items, most of which were at pretty reasonable prices – and they even offer FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING! From winter coats, to light up collars, toys and more – I had a tough time deciding what to test out.
I finally landed on this treat launcher (which I’ve always wanted to try) and this interesting rubber egg dog toy.
The rubber egg didn’t come with any packaging and the online description wasn’t very informative other than to say that it was resistant to dog bites. Since I’m such a tough chewer mom decided not to let me play with the egg since she couldn’t determine if it might easily break apart or harm me if I swallowed any pieces.
That’s ok though, because the toy I really wanted to test out was the treat launcher! And after a quick wash (as suggested on the back of the package) I was ready to launch some treats!
I had a little trouble locating those flying cookies, but I’m sure with a bit more practice I will totally get the hang of it!
The launcher works a bit easier if you don’t over-fill it with treats, but regardless it was still fun to play with. How can you not like a toy that shoots cookies into the air?

Disclosure: I received some toys from Born Pretty for review on my blog, but all opinions are entirely my own! I would like to note this company is located overseas (which I did not realize until after agreeing to a review) – as I know some of you may prefer to only purchase from US companies. Also because of this winners prizes may take 3 – 5 weeks to arrive.

And now a look at everything I’ve been up to this past December…
The Christmas festivities have come and gone, but I’m still reminiscing about all the fun I had with friends and family.
I kicked off the festivities on Christmas eve with a trip to Trooper’s house!
Trooper and I had a blast opening gifts with our family, and I even gifted Trooper a new reflective vest and collar to wear during hunting season on the farm.
Between the both of us we opened up some fun new toys like this Pickle for Trooper and a new Kong toy for me. Needless to say I confiscated both of them….for testing purposes of course!
Christmas eve of course wasn’t complete until we got a little snow! Just what I needed before I put on my pj’s and dreamed of elves and the jolly old fat man!
Before I could see what Santa brought me on Christmas morning I headed out to the farm to take care of my ponies, and I had fun watching them open their new toy from Santa!
Then it was back home to open my own presents under the tree!
Santa must have thought I was a really good boy this year (and don’t you tell him otherwise), because I got so many goodies I hardly knew what to play with first!
But before I had a chance to play with much of anything it was off to my mom-mom and pop-pop’s house to have Christmas with my cousins!
My cousins were very nice to share most of their toys with me, although I was much more excited to get home to my own toys than playing Skylanders.
Although my cousins did gift me this fun new duck toy, which I had a blast tearing into!
I bet you are wondering just what I got for Christmas right?
Well one of my very favorite toys was a stuffed cup of hot chocolate that my mom and dad picked up for a couple bucks from goodwill….
It doesn’t take much to make this dog happy!
I also got the new Planet Dog Snoop Toy (one of my current favorite toys, and thus far indestructible!), KONG Starpod (I already broke a hole in this one!), a Bumble Ball (which I must admit I’m a little scared of as it vibrates!), a Ruffwear Lunker Toy (which I can’t wait to try out it’s floating capabilities at the lake this summer) and several bags of cookies!
Dad also got me a new stand for my photo backdrops, yippee!
By the end of the day I was pretty exhausted! But I had a wonderful Christmas with the people (and animals) I love!
