Truth be told I’ve never spent the night at a kennel or boarding facility, and honestly I hope to never have to be apart from my family! But I do know that sometimes this just isn’t possible and I’d like to think that should it come to that I’d be staying in one of the fanciest facilities for dogs! Finding those top notch places just got a little bit easier with Furlocity!
Furlocity is a first-of its-kind online marketplace for the pet accommodations and veterinary services industry. Pet parents can now simply visit Furlocity’s website to search, compare and instantly book their favorite trusted pet care facility all in one sitting. Furlocity isn’t only about pet boarding though, they also have a platform to help pet parents easily find and connect with pet care services and accommodations.
In just three easy steps, pet parents can visit Furlocity’s website, compare several of its pre-screened listed pet care facilities and book a stay based on their needs. Through Furlocity, pet parents can even create free pet profiles and upload vaccination/medical records to save time and streamline the check-in process, and also earn rewards towards free or discounted nights each time they book a stay.
Right now their selection of cities in small, but they continue to expand the areas covered.
Pet boarding, veterinarians, and even pet-friendly hotels can all easily be searched for through their website. Each business includes a write-up, photographs, and the best part – reviews by real people. You can even book hotel rooms and stays for your pet at a boarding facility right from the Furlocity website.
So next time you’re looking for pet accommodations make sure you checkout Furlocity! You may even end up in a swanky pet friendly hotel like me!

My January Barkbox subscription is here! You guys, let me tell you, I could hardly contain myself when that goodness arrived at my doorstep this month.
So I did what any other dog would do, I ripped that sucker open and grabbed the first thing I smelled!
This month’s Barkbox was packed with some delicious goodies as per usual.
We had the Loving Pets Barksters – crunchy sweet potato & beef crisps, a Harry Barker Tug n’ Toss rope toy, a Barkworthies Junior Bully Stick Chew (which I devoured right out of the box), and Think! Dog Alligator Jerky. Yes, I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever had actual alligator…..but I’m looking forward to trying it. I hear they are great for dogs with allergies to more common proteins like beef or chicken.
And lastly we’ve got the Wigzi! A dishwasher safe, recyclable, made in the USA toy that floats…..now if I could just get my dad to stop playing with it too!
So as you can see, for a box filled with all that dog-gone goodness…..it never stood a chance!
You can fetch your own BarkBox starting at $19 a month. It’s the perfect thing to gift your pup this Valentines Day! Save $5 on your BarkBox subscription if you use code AMMO5!
Disclosure: I received a Barkbox for review, but all opinions are entirely my own!
My love affair with the ocean started when I was just about a year old. For me it was love at first sight. How can you not love a place that has beaches for miles just begging to be dug up or waves that bring ashore critters to hunt and chase?
Check out this video from my very first encounter with the ocean just after I had celebrated my first birthday!
Over the weekend I decided to go on a sledding adventure at the farm. So I grabbed my favorite ponies (Minnow, Blitz and Boomer) and hitched them to a sled for some fun!
Trooper and I had a blast chasing the sleds – we even made it a little friendly competition out of who could get there first. (it was me incase you were wondering)
Dad even broke out his snowboard for a little more “extreme” fun. We’re a little unconventional around here.
You can bet I’ll be doing some sledding again real soon!
Make sure you stop by and visit the Painting Pony Blog today to see more fun videos of me sledding with the ponies!
I bet you have that one favorite spot in your house. The spot where the couch dips in just right and the sun warms your back and you could just nap there for hours. Yeah, I have that spot at my house too.
All that’s missing is someone to hand feed me cookies and massage my back.

My pals over at Chewy.com recently sent me a package of Nutro Crunchy Real Pomegranate Dog Cookies to try.
They feature real pomegranates and healthy ingredients, and as a bonus my mom says they smell great too (which is a real plus considering how some dog treats can be quite stinky). They include no wheat or corn, and they contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
And if you’re wondering how I liked them, just check out this video of me doing my very best begging to get some!
You can fetch your own package of Nutro treats from Chewy.com.

Lately I’ve been loving things with pops of bright color, and when it comes to dog accessories I love it on them even more!
Each of these Meredith Wendell Collar are made from Italian Saffiano leather. They include 2 D-rings to affix leash and tags and have gold hardware. I’m totally in love!
You can fetch your own limited edition Meredith Wendell collar starting at around $60.
It’s no secret that I’m pretty much an expert hunter, especially when it comes to groundhogs.
While I now can spend hours on the farm digging down holes after my furry little friends, did you know that I actually started honing my hunting skills as a young pup on something much much smaller….
