I’m totally crushing on my latest find, these Californian Dog Bandanas from Houndworthy! These made in the USA cotton bandanas feature vintage style prints in fun colors. I’ve got my eye on the swiss army knife design already!

Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post and I have not tested and do not own any of these products, I just wanted to share my latest find!
Everyone always wears their Sunday best on Easter, and your dog should be no exception! Check out my Easy 5 Minute No-Sew Bowtie for Dogs! It’s so easy you’ll wonder why you never made one before!
I also scoured the web and rounded up these fun ways for your dog to enjoy Easter:
So I packed up my car with all the tools necessary to put on an awesome performance and headed south 2 hours to help support the dachshunds in need!
I brought along a lot of my fun goodies from my shop, which did you know purchases from also help to support the animal rescues as I donate a portion of my sales every year to my favorite animal rescues?
Mom and Dad managed to get everything set up so nicely for me, despite the fact that they were both fighting nasty colds. But hey, the show must go on!
It turned out to be an unusually hot day (for April) with temperatures reaching into the 80’s. So if you caught me lounging around on Sunday – it’s mostly because I wasn’t quite used to the heat!
But when it came time to perform I pulled it together and drew a fantastic crowd to watch me perform!
I performed my skit from last year’s event, with a few added in tricks that I had learned in the past few weeks. Like my beg!
And also rolling my barrel!
The crowd always seems to enjoy the part where my super self jumps through the death defying hoops!
But I’m pretty sure one of my all-time crowd-favorite tricks will always be playing dead. Don’t worry, I always survive this trick!
Here’s a little video of some of the highlights from my performances:
After my first performance of the day I took a short nap in the car (with my fan on) so that I could have the energy to perform again. Sorry to anyone who was looking for me, but a celebrity needs his beauty sleep!
After I was fully rested I was ready to mix and mingle with all the other fabulous dachshunds that attended the event!
I sniffed a whole lotta butts, and enjoyed meeting the HUGE variety of dachshunds that came. From smooth haired to long haired and every color you can imagine!
I even obliged to take the obligatory fan photos!
There was so much to do at the Spring Doxie Fest that I wished I could have tried it all. From wiener dog races, to a sand pit and there was even a flyball demonstration and an agility course.
I had fun watching a talented doxie run the flyball course, and later I got to run through the agility course myself! Check out the instagram video below:
As you can imagine my 2 hour car ride home from the Spring Doxie Fest looked something like this:
I had a blast and was thrilled to help a good cause. It was great meeting some of my fans and I loved being able to show everyone my tricks!
For those of you that attended, what was your favorite part about the Spring Doxie Fest?
Disclaimer: This product review & giveaway is sponsored by Penn + Pooch.
It’s no secret that I’m a dog with style. True, I may roll in stinky stuff on the farm while wearing each and every one of my stylish outfits – but at least I’m looking fly while doing so! So when Penn + Pooch offered to add some super cool new gear to my “roll in stink” wardrobe I said yippee!
Penn + Pooch – style for a (wo)man’s best friend, is an online shop filled with the most lovely clothing for your bestest pal, just like the Emerson Hoodie I’m wearing.
I took to the streets in downtown Downingtown to get the verdict on my new Penn + Pooch gear….
I’m pretty sure everyone can agree that I look super adorable – even though I’m pretty sure I was going for the gangster look. But hey, it’s hard not to be adorable when you’re a dog wearing a hoodie.
One of my absolute favorite parts about all the Penn + Pooch gear is their signature back flap. Designed so you can always easily hook a harness through it, this thing is genius…..because who wants to wear a harness over their hoodie? That’s just ridiculous!
Penn + Pooch also sent me their Babe Tee in Tangerine + Native Aztec Print. Their clothing designs not only come in trendy colors, but in fun patterns too!
Bright and fun, it’s the perfect way to kick off the warmer weather!
Today only Penn + Pooch is offering a 10% discount to all our readers with code ammo10
And now for the best part…..
TWO Lucky WINNERS will win a Tee from Penn + Pooch (the babe in gray + mustard or the quinn in tangerine)

Seeing as how when I travel mom stores my kibble in a plastic water bottle, I thought the new Ruffwear Kibble Kaddie was something that could totally come in handy!
The top-loading, roll-down closure secures contents and reduces volume of the bag as food is consumed. Kibble is dispensed through the side-mounted food chute. External stash pocket fits collapsible bowls and other adventure essentials.
You can fetch the Kibble Kaddie from Ruffwear for $39.95

Since it’s now Spring I thought it would be fun to make a new downloadable wallpaper for all of your devices!
Featuring one of my original, one-of-a-kind, watercolor paintings in the background this is sure to put you in the Spring-time mood! You can check out more of my original paintings in the Painting Pony Shop!
As many of you may already know, I’m headed to the Spring Doxie Fest this weekend in Maryland on Sunday. I’ll be making the 2 hour trek south to meet all of my friends!
I will be performing my fun tricks for everyone at 11:15am and 2:15pm, so if you’re attending – you won’t want to miss it!
I’ll also be setting up my booth with lots of fun goodies from prints and cards to magnets, notepads and more!
So if you’re looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday with a bunch of dachshunds – I hope you’ll stop on by. And don’t worry, for those of you that can’t attend I’ll be back next week with a full recap of all my adventures.
The last few weeks I’ve been busy helping with construction at the farm – most specifically the site of Trooper’s new house.
From helping to install insulation…..
…to helping to make cuts on the table saw, I’ve pretty much become a house building expert! (don’t worry, I don’t actually use the saw, I simply bark at the operators to not cut off a limb!)
Trooper on the other hand is becoming quite skilled at holding boards in need of nailing. He may or may not be sneaking off with a few that he “claims” need shortening with the help of a few skilled gnaws!
When I signed up to help build this house I really was not informed about just how many hours it actually takes to build a house from the ground up. It’s a good thing Trooper brought along his construction bed, because I must admit it has come in handy during long work hours on the farm.
Working into the wee hours of the night to keep the house building on schedule is apparently now in my job description.
With a few power naps tossed in here and there.
Don’t worry though, Trooper and I are quite good at encouraging our workers to KEEP WORKING when it comes down to it!
And thankfully due to our hard work progress is moving along rather quickly now, with the drywall installation going in just this past weekend!
Yup, definitely starting to look like a real house now! I’ve already “marked” my bedroom for when Trooper lets me sleep over.
And I’m proudly wearing my badge of sawdust to prove just how much of a hard worker I am!
