February Love

It’s February, and you know what that means? It means that I get Valentines! (and treats, and hugs, and kisses). Ok honestly, I should be getting that stuff all the time…February 14th or not.

But I digress.

Since it is the month of LOVE, I decided to play a little dress up.

And who better to dress up as during February than Cupid? Well actually I wanted to be a box of chocolates, but mom said that was a little too tempting.

And since I couldn’t let my stunning model poses go to waste, I decided to make my very own Valentine’s with them!

You can send your very own Ammo the Dachshund Valentine’s Day greeting too! Visit my online shop to see my collection of cards!

And a special treat for all my blog friends….

2011 Snowstorm

On Thursday I woke up to 16 inches of fluffy white stuff!

I know….fabulous right?

Mom and Dad didn’t think it was so fabulous….especially since the snow blower broke! (and a couple of snow shovels in the process of digging out). But at least we all got a snow day!

I of course made the most of my snow day.

What’s a snow day without a couple of backyard tunnels anyway?

Ponies + Dachshund + Snow = Fun

My snow day recap…..

Me: I will Blitz! Just as soon as I get my snow suit on!

Blitz: But me and Boomer have already started having fun without you!

Me: Nooooo! I’m coming! Don’t have anymore fun without me!

Me: I’d be there faster if you came and helped me dig myself out!

Sigh.

Sometimes I just miss out on all the fun!

Shop Update and Dachshund Wares

Tuesday is my “Monday” at the shop, as mom and I reluctantly say goodbye to our weekend and head back to work. Mom’s always super busy on Tuesdays. Placing orders, answering e-mails, framing, and doing other businessey things that totally bore me. Yesterday was no exception while mom spent several hours updating the Studio’s online shop.

This is what I looked like while I waited patiently for the inevitable “break time” – which means a walk and playtime to me!

But in the end a little bit of me did shine through on the shop update…

…by way of my adorable face in a series of photobooth art! I know, I’m such the super model right?

Every shop needs a little “Dachshund” to make you smile! Don’t you think?

Sledding

Yes, that’s right…..I’m a sledding expert!

Take me to the mountain please!

The only bad part about sledding in the horse pasture at the farm…..you have to look out for frozen “horse” piles! (makes for a bumpy ride)

Is someone gonna push me or what?

Woohoo!

The hardest part about sledding is walking your sled back up the hill!

Just beware….sledding can be chilly…..

…but a couple extra layers of clothing should do the trick!

Any of my doggie pals been sledding this winter? Post your sledding pictures on my Facebook Page!

Friday Fetch: Balloon Dog

Everyone knows I love a good circus trick. I jump through a hoop, perform on a pedestal – really all that’s missing is the clown-dog collar…..and maybe a balloon animal or two. That’s why today I’m sharing with you this super cool find – Wearable Balloon Animal Dogs!

The best part, you can’t pop him!

You can get these cute Balloon Dog Brooches in white, black, and red at Another Empire.

Penny Saver

Over the weekend mom went shopping at the outlets in Lancaster, PA. You can bet I was kinda bummed to be missing all the fun.

But, the good news is that she returned with a little present for me. And I’m sure you all know how much I love presents! Mom brought me back this cute silver-plated Dachshund bank, so I can save up my allowance!

Mom said she snagged him on sale at the Pottery Barn Outlet for $9! I’m so excited to start dropping my pennies in him! What do you think I should save for?

P.S. Mom said that the Dachshund Banks are on sale on the Pottery Barn website for $26.99 – click here to check them out!

All-Weather Farm Dog

I’ll be the first to admit that rainy, wet, and cold weather are not my FAVORITE type of days. I’d much rather have a sunny/warm day to go sunbathing, chase bugs and play in the dirt.

So when we arrived at the farm on Tuesday morning, I’ll admit, I thought long and hard about crying until mom put me back in the car.

But then I remembered….

No. 1 …I’m not a Pansie

No. 2…There was no way I was gonna let a little sleeting rain and ice make me miss all the fun!
