This holiday season I wanted to thank everyone out there that has supported small businesses. Being that I work in my mom’s small business, and I also run my own online shop, small businesses have a special place in my heart.
Because honestly, you can’t go to a big box store and be greeted by a happy tail wagging dog like me!

This past Friday was Take Your Dog to Work Day, but for me it was no different than any other day, because I work most days with my mom in her custom frame shop.
But, I decided to play the part anyway and instead of my usual sunbathing by the front door I threw on my glasses and helped mom with the picture framing.
Choosing picture frames is no easy task, but it’s a good thing I have a great eye for design!
I picked out some colorful mouldings that would look super awesome on one of my Dream Big Prints.
I must admit, I worked pretty darn hard and I’m pretty sure I should get a raise. Please add 4 more cookies to my daily wages mom!
A few weeks ago I announced the launch of new notepads and fun little doxie pens in my shop, which you can see HERE. Well, mom and I decided why have only two designs when you can have three!
So with a little inspiration from yours truly, we came up with the Hot Dog notepad!
Mom drew the little hot dog shape, which by the way looks so so yummy!
Even the little doxie pen looks oh so fun to play with, but I’m still perplexed at how he can snap in half like that!
