Happy Valentine’s Day to all my friends out there! And just in case no one’s told you yet today….

It’s true.

You might be wondering why I’m dressed up in my Artist gear. Well, it’s because over the weekend I was very busy making a very special Valentine’s Day gift for my bestest pal, Trooper.

Just don’t mention this to my girlfriend Cricket, I sorta forgot to get her something! Shhh!

Upgraded

Mom was a little bit behind the times – in regards to her phoning capabilities.

I may have had a little something to do with those “scratches” on mom’s phone. In my defense, flip phones are extremely hard to navigate when you have paws!

And forget about texting….it was nearly impossible for me to accomplish! Thankfully it was time for an upgrade, via the iPhone 4! Yipee!

Mom said she’d show me how to use it for twitter, facebooking, checking my e-mail, posting artwork in my shop, and updating my blog. I can’t wait! Perhaps I should wear gloves this time though….just to be safe.

Dark Days

That’s right, it was a full fledged black-out at the shop yesterday morning!

I admit, I pouted a little. I mean with no power – that means I can’t get my heat lamp turned on! How am I supposed to pretend I’m at the beach without it?

Luckily the outage didn’t last too long. So thankfully I didn’t have to look like this for too terribly long…..

After waiting for months and months mom and dad FINALLY moved some furniture into my favorite spot in the house for me!

With a 360 Degree view of the great outdoors via the windows, and a perch to call my own…..seriously, this is the life!

Now if someone could just open the doggie door for me, I’ll have all the necessities. Well some kibble would be nice too!

Friday Fetch: Weenie Sweaters

Ok, so I know that NOT everyone out there that reads my blog is a Dachshund, but I just can’t help but come across some of those fabulous products that have DACHSHUND written all over them. So if you aren’t a Dachshund, or you don’t have a Dachshund friend (for shame!) then look away. Otherwise, check out these totally awesome sweaters made to fit the short and long!

Every Stitch Counts makes sweaters (and neck warmers called snoods) from all-natural re purposed virgin fibers. All of the wools are felted making them especially strong, warm and weather “proof”.

Since my Pennsylvania winters can be a little harsh for me, I decided to order myself a sweater! Being that I’m a Tweenie (for you non-doxie folks that means I’m too big to be a miniature dachshund and too small to be a standard dachshund), there wasn’t a selection of sweaters in my size. It’s February, and you know what that means? It means that I get Valentines! (and treats, and hugs, and kisses). Ok honestly, I should be getting that stuff all the time…February 14th or not.

But I digress.
