Today marks the official start of the FIFA World Cup, and if you haven’t guessed already I’m a huge soccer (football to many of you) fan just like my dad.

It’s also probably quite obvious that I’m rooting for team USA….after all I am an American.

But you know, if they allowed dogs to tryout for the team I probably would be their star player right now (well and if they made soccer cleats in puppy sizes). Even better than Clint Dempsey!

Toy Graveyard

Upon first inspection you might think this is just an ordinary basket filled with some of my toys.

But, it’s actually my toy graveyard – where chewed, ripped, devoured, and damaged toys go to live out their remaining days.

It’s not that they weren’t loved, it’s quite the opposite really, they were loved a little too much.

I have fond memories with all of them, like tearing ears off, ripping stuffing out, de-squeaking, and gnawing until my jaw is sore.

Over the weekend my mom and dad decided to make some homemade hamburgers – in preparation for some home barbecuing fun this summer. I was a little worried I was going to be left out of the burger fun, when mom pulled out something just for me.

Mom said she was going to make me some mutt meatballs! This fun Treat Mix was included in one of my past Barkbox’s, and all that was needed to make them was a 1 pound package of ground meat, one egg, and the mutt meatballs mix.

First mom stirred all the ingredients into a bowl.

Then she laid them out on a tray to bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

The 30 minutes wait was the hardest part about the whole process.

Marsh Creek Mother’s Day

Sunday was Mother’s Day, so Trooper and I packed up our moms (and our ponies) and headed to the Marsh Creek State Park so that everyone could have a fun day.

While our mom’s went on an afternoon ride with the ponies Trooper and I went frolicking through the grass.

As if the look on my face doesn’t give it away already, I’m absolutely in love with frolicking!

After our moms returned, Trooper and I hit the lake for a little dip.

The water was a bit too chilly for my liking, so I sent Trooper out to retrieve all of the items floating in the lake instead.
