So I heard that during the Oscars (airing on March 2nd) they will be celebrating movie characters who save the day. You know, like Super Heroes!

But my only question is, where is my invite?

So while I’m sure the Oscars will be an exciting event, it will never be as spectacular as it could have been if a certain pony and his canine friend were invited to partake!

The paparazzi would of swarmed me anyway, so perhaps it’s better I get to just watch from the comfort of my own couch.

You might even remember last year I got all fancied up for the occasion, but alas, I guess it’s not my time to grace the red carpet. However, I’m sure you could put in your requests on the Academy’s Facebook Page for a certain little dachshund celebrity to be in attendance for next year! Paws crossed!

With all that snow he could find holes to dig in for days and days!

oh yup, that little digging pup found a treasure! Only something tiny little dogs with great big digging paws could uncover. Bunny poop!

Last Thursday when I awoke there was a whole lot of snow outside my door. As in 15+ inches of fluffy white stuff!

Of course the first thing I did was pile on my jackets and head outdoors to catch some snowflakes!

Running like a crazy dog through the snow was totally worth being chilly for just a few minutes. So fun in fact, that I headed out to the farm for some more winter adventures with my ponies!

Despite the inches upon inches of snow we received (and keep continuing to receive), I just can’t get on board with “snow bashing”. It might be cold and wet, difficult for mom and dad to shovel, and somewhat of a hazard – but when else do you get to make memories like these? Snowday fun is just the kind of adventures I needed this winter!

My love affair with the ocean started when I was just about a year old. For me it was love at first sight. How can you not love a place that has beaches for miles just begging to be dug up or waves that bring ashore critters to hunt and chase?

Over the weekend I decided to go on a sledding adventure at the farm. So I grabbed my favorite ponies (Minnow, Blitz and Boomer) and hitched them to a sled for some fun!

Trooper and I had a blast chasing the sleds – we even made it a little friendly competition out of who could get there first. (it was me incase you were wondering)
