It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to play with my neighbor Harley. So over the weekend I popped over to her house and we had a little fun chasing her Dad’s RC Car in the backyard.
Ok well mostly I watched Harley chase the car while I bossed her around (she really has no idea she is a Rottweiler). But it was a blast!
This is totally going to be the name of my children’s book someday, “Farmyard Fun with a Dog in the Fog”. It sounds like something straight out of a Dr. Suess book.
And truth be told, I always have a lot of farmyard fun in the fog!
The damp blanket of foggy goodness seems to bring out all of my friends to play.
I’m always the first to grab a stick and entice my friends to join in the fun.
Catch me if you can ponies!
Before I could turn around to see who was joining me in this fun game of chase I was in the middle of nowhere, and the fog had covered me in it’s blanket!
I thought I might be lost.
Cricket got worried when she could no longer see my yellow coat in the pasture.
And Blitz began nickering for me so I could find my way back to my friends.
You might remember that I mentioned that I would be appearing on the new animal planet show, The Year in Pup Culture, which aired on December 22, 2012.
It’s an action-packed hour of non-stop, over-the-top cuteness. THE YEAR IN PUP CULTURE looks back at the defining moments of 2012 as only Animal Planet can — with puppies! These adorable pups reenact the most memorable moments of the year, including scenes from top blockbuster movies and ripped-from-the headline bits. If these moments piqued public interest in 2012, they are getting “puppified” in the cutest hour on television.
Well when I actually got to watch my (and Minnow’s) beautiful mug on tv, I was so excited that they actually compared me (yes little old me) to a Kardashian! Am I really that famous? Just check it out for yourself:
Oh yes, you heard right – me and Minnow are like the Kim & Kanye of Animal Planet! Well, except the fact that we’re best friends instead of lovers, although I do love my Minnow dearly. Proof:
I’m pretty sure this means that I get some designer doggie gear now that I’m associated with the Kardashian clan, right? Or at least a feature on Khloe Kardashian’s or Kim Kardashian’s Blog?
A dog can dream….
P.S. I hear Kim & Kanye are expecting their first child (yes, I keep up with my pop culture)….congrats to the couple, and just FYI I’m available for baby sitting. *wink*
This year when Christmas morning arrived, so did the snow! I awoke to a blanket of snow in my backyard….it was glorious!
After taking a romp in the newly fallen snow I set to work unwrapping all of my gifts!
Santa must of known that I’ve been a very good boy, because he brought me lots of goodies this year.
One of my favorite gifts this year was an add-on for my agility poles so that I can practice indoors too! Santa knows me so well!
So after diving into all my presents at home, we loaded up the car and headed over to Trooper’s house for some more Christmas fun.
I dressed for the occasion in my Holiday tie!
Trooper said I made him feel very under dressed.
Even my new cousin Jack joined us for some fun during the holidays – although he was smart and staked out the best spot on the couch before we started opening gifts.
We opened so many gifts at Trooper’s house, that Trooper fell asleep with all his new toys in his mouth. He just doesn’t know how to hang.
After the party at Trooper’s we loaded up the car again and headed to my MomMom & PopPop’s house so that I could give my human cousins some gifts too!
My cousin Maddie got a pony for Christmas, which she promptly named Ammo. I’m not sure if I should be flattered or insulted?
When we finally arrived back home late that night, mom said I had to put all my new toys away in the new toy baskets Santa had brought me.
I figured Santa would want me to enjoy my gifts to the fullest, so I snuggled up for the night inside one of my toy bins. Morning couldn’t come soon enough!
Here’s a round-up of what goodies I got this year:
I had a wonderful Christmas with my family, getting to take some time off work and spend time with the one’s I love was just what I needed after a busy Holiday season at mom’s shop. I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday as well!
Today is the last day of my 12 Days of Cheer! And it is also Christmas Day! Hooray!
I hope you’ve enjoyed celebrating the season with my 12 Days of Cheer – and just for fun, let’s take a look back at all the fun we’ve had these past few days.
So on our final and last day of the 12 Days of Cheer I wanted to wish all of my friends and family a very Merry Christmas!
I’m now off to visit with my family and spread my Christmas Cheer while wearing my most awesome Christmas Outfit. When you’re this good looking it’s pretty easy to leave some cheer behind everywhere you go!
Being that I have a 9-5 job working as official shop greeter at mom’s shop in town, parade time I have to work extra hard to invite parade goers into the shop for free hot cider & cookies!
Luckily I’m pretty cute, so my job usually isn’t that hard. *wink*
After working hard at the shop all morning I was excited to hear that the parade was about to start. I made sure I got a front row seat for all the action!
The parade was just as fabulous as always, but the most exciting part is always SANTA!
And MRS. CLAUS too!
Hey Santa! I hope you got my Christmas List! See you again in a few days!
DIY and Cookies, what’s more to love? Today I have a very special holiday diy to share with you, it’s simple, it’s easy, and it involves cookies!
DIY Holiday Dog Cookie Jar
Supplies:
Mason Jar
Painters Tape
Spray Paint
Bone Cookie Cutter (or anything you would like to use as a stencil)
Exacto Knife
Step 1: Lay out your painters tape on a cuttable surface (self-healing mats work great) and trace around your dog bone shaped cookie cutter (or any stencil you would like to use).
Step 2: Cut the shape out with an exacto knife.
Step 3: Position your cut-out shape on the mason jar where-ever you would like it.
Step 4: Spray paint the jar in any color you would like.
Step 5: When the jar is dry remove the painters tape and fill with your favorite cookies!
I filled my jar with some peanut butter cookies from the Three Dog Bakery, but if you are looking for some recipes you might want to check out this E-book from Pretty Fluffy.
My new DIY Holiday Dog Cookie Jar would make the perfect gift this holiday to give to my best friend Trooper, however my tummy might have the final ruling on this one. I’m sure Trooper won’t mind if I eat just a few!
The day has finally come! It’s time to announce the official release of the brand-new Super Pony DVD, staring the talented Minnow from Painting Pony…..and ME!
Thanks to my talented Uncle Taylor and Depthink Productions, we began filming for the DVD this past summer, and I’m so excited that it’s finally ready to share with everyone!
Check out the DVD Trailer:
ON THIS DVD
Trainer, Kyley DiLuigi, introduces us to Super Pony, the alter ego of the talented Chincoteague Pony, Minnow! Watch as he shows us some of his favorite trick performances, many of which have been performed at expos, fairs, schools, and even the Annual Chincoteague Pony Penning. Several performances also include Minnow’s lovable sidekick, Ammo the Dachshund, as well as other members of the Painting Pony crew. In addition to 5 featured videos, this DVD also contains 2 bonus videos: a visit to Iron Horse Farm, home to the Painting Ponies; and a talk given by Kyley about everyone’s favorite Chincoteague Pony, Misty of Chincoteague.
PAINTING PONY
In 2007, Painting Pony was founded when Kyley DiLuigi decided to bring her paints from art school out to the farm where she kept her 14-year-old pony, Minnow. That cold winter day Minnow became the World’s First Painting Chincoteague Pony as he created his very first masterpiece. As it became evident that Minnow had a gift that he truly loved, the paintings he created began to pile higher and higher. Feeling the need to share Minnow’s art with the world, Kyley started PaintingPony.com and the rest is history!
You’ll get to see performances by me and Minnow as well as me and my buddy Trooper. You even get to see me paint!

Last week mom and dad took me to Waterloo Gardens to see Santa. I was so excited because I couldn’t wait to tell him all of the lovely gifts I wanted him to pack on his sleigh for me.
Mom and dad snapped lots of photos of me, and I made sure to pack my reindeer antlers….just in case Santa was in need of one more reindeer for his sleigh!
Sadly Santa saw right though my cardboard antlers, but he made me feel much better with a great big Christmas hug! Best day ever!
Little did I know, later in the week I’d get to see Santa again, this time at the Animal Clinic at Thorndale. This trip to Santa gave me a chance to donate money to the fund for Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief. Yay for helping the animals!
I’ll have to wait a bit longer to see the professional photos from Clocks for Seeing Photography, but mom and dad were able to snap this shot of me on Santa’s lap.
Yes, I’ll admit – I was a bit frightened. But when Santa sets up shop in your vet’s office…..you can’t help but worry that his Christmas gift to you is bound to be a round of shots. Luckily he had mercy on me this year. Thanks Santa.
Now I only have 12 more days until I get to see Santa again – when he slides down my chimney on Christmas Eve! Yippee!
