It’s fall on the farm, and it’s my favorite time of year. Even Spider the kitten is excited about the new fallen leaves.

I have to say I’m a wee bit jealous of her – as she’s become a master at going incognito in her leaf surroundings.

Even Cricket can’t figure out how not to stick out like a sore thumb.

And Trooper, don’t even get me started on him, sometimes I don’t even think he tries!

I on the other hand “might” be able to pull off the incognito look, had somebody (*cough* mom) not dressed me in BRIGHT BLUE! Sheesh!

But, despite my shortcomings in the incognito department I can still chase the cats….

It’s Carving Time

Yesterday was Pumpkin Time, today it’s carving time! And boy did I carve some amazing pumpkins this year.

I might have also taken a few Popsicle breaks. Yum.

But in my defense I had two willing parents suckers to do all my pumpkin carving for me.

Flying High at the Dog Park

Over the weekend mom and dad took me to the dog park.

I was having a fantastic time chasing float-away leaves in the stream until I noticed something new at the park!

Dog agility jumps! Being one to never pass up an opportunity to practice my high-flying super hero skills I couldn’t resist testing them out.

All the big dogs were jealous, because man was I FLYING!

I bet you’re jealous too! Skills like this are hard to come by and I totally rocked those dog agility jumps.

Warp speed baby – so lightning fast even my ears are left behind!

Friday Fetch: Halloween Addition

With about 2 weeks before Halloween there is still plenty of time for you to find that perfect costume! So I decided to create a round-up of some of my favorite costumes available this year!

1. Brasil Soccer Star from D’Pelos Pet Apparel. This one is for my dad, who is a big soccer fan!

2. British Soldier from Wish Pony. Can’t you just picture him riding on his white steed to save the day?

3. The Secretary from Spirit Halloween. You have to admit, you’d get a few laughs with this one!

4. Little Red Riding Hood from Charlie Hearts Disel. Because sometimes minimal works.

5. Banana Split from Old Navy. Honestly, this one just makes me really hungry!

Epic Battle

Me and Trooper were hanging out at the farm last night, picking up leftover grain under the feed tubs, when we suddenly remembered we had something really important to do.

We had an epic battle to attend to….of Jedi vs. Jedi in an ultimate lightsaber battle of wits!

It was pretty intense, so I had to take frequent refueling breaks at the water bowl. A Jedi can’t fight thirsty afterall.

The battle lasted for hours…although we could have gone on for days. But in the end….

….somehow we both ended up snuggled next to each other on the couch. Honestly, I have no idea how we got there – it must have been one EPIC battle!

 

Super-Duper Halloween

Sadly it’s not because I have any damsels in distress to rescue today, nor do I have any dragons to fight. No, it’s something much more important than that.

It’s Halloween Party time! Wooohoo!

Mom and Dad are hosting a Halloween party this year, and the theme? Super Heroes of course!

I’m still working out my wardrobe selection, but I definitely think I’m in the running for best dressed!

Birthday Week: The End

Well it’s finally time to bid my Birthday week farewell. I am a little sad, but I think it’s time for some new adventures! I hope everyone had fun, and I’m glad you could join me in celebration of my Third Birthday.

Birthday Week: More Gifts!

Just when I thought there were no more presents to be had during Birthday week I got an extra special surprise in the mail all the way from Canada!

Leila & Harriet from Glowdoggie sent me one of their new neon green mini collars for my Birthday! Aren’t they so sweet. And they must have known how much of a spoiled sport Trooper is too, because they sent one along for him too.

I’m pretty certain that we will be playing “star wars” with our new “light sabers” out on the farm very very soon.

Mom also surprised me with one more gift (which hasn’t quite arrived yet…..shame on her for ordering too late) – it’s a new Molly Mutt duvet cover! Now I just have to decide whether to put it on my dog bed at home – or in the shop…..hummm decisions, decisions.

Birthday Week: My Presents!

Yippee! I had a pretty fun Birthday yesterday!

My day started off pretty regular, but then my bestest pal Trooper came to spend the day with me at the shop.

We pretty much did the normal stuff….

…you know, taking turns wearing the party hat and trying to eat each other…..

….I swear I won the match! And not just because it was my Birthday!

After work I headed out to the farm where Minnow and all my pony friends sang Happy Birthday to me! I won’t lie, I made them sing it twice just for kicks.

Then back at home I FINALLY got to open my Birthday gifts from mom and dad.
