If you’ve been following along with my adventures for a while, then you may recall I have a special trick box that I use for performances.
It’s served me well as I’ve performed at many venues over the years, but it was time for a little change.
You might also remember that I asked all of you to weigh in how I should use my new decals on my trick box (and maybe even my helmet). Well a long 6 months later I FINALLY got around to giving my trick box a little updating!
Mom helped me scrape off my old decal, add a fresh coat of paint, and reapply my decal from Nipomo Imprints for a brand-new look!
I think it turned out pretty spiffy!
It’s the perfect box for super hero crime fighting and save the world type adventures, and I can’t wait to bring it along on my next performance!
Next though, I think my helmet might be begging for a fresh coat of paint! Super heroes can’t wear dinged up helmets of course!
As most of you know I was invited to paint and perform at the 2013 Spring Doxie Fest to benefit the Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue. I love to support animal rescues, so I jumped at the chance to show off my stuff!
So I packed up my car with lots of goodies for my booth, and brought along all of my trick gear for my big performance. (you can always shop online with me HERE).
When it came time to perform I was excited to show everyone what I had been practicing. I love to learn and doing tricks with my mom is one of my favoritiest things in the whole wide world.
I kicked off my big performance by finishing up a painting I had started earlier in the week…..afterall you can’t rush talent!
Then it was off to my phone booth for a quick costume change, of course everyone giggled when my Super Undies went on display for the world to see. I’m still blushing. But Super Ammo had a job to do, and I wasn’t going to let a little embarrassment stop me!
Eventually I had to break out my super helmet for some of the more dangerous tricks. Safety first.
After all that performing I was ready to meet my fans!
By then I was pretty tired, but my day wasn’t over yet, because I had to judge some of the contests like best kisser, best tail wag, best costume, and best trick.
I even got to meet a cool doxie named Harry who had a knack for playing golf! (I chose him as the winner of best trick by the way).
Incase you missed my big performance at the Doxie Fest, below is a quick highlight video I made. And if you want to see some more of my amazing tricks you can check out the SUPER PONY DVD that I made with my favorite trick ponies HERE.
At the end of the day I was so excited that so many of you came out to watch me perform and meet me, and most importantly support a great rescue like the Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue.
Lately I’ve been noticing that my Super Hero outfit is lacking a little something something.
So I sent mom on an errand to pick me up some bling, and she came back with some fantastic choices. The only problem is, I can’t decide which one I like best! So I need your help to decide which bling I should adorn my Super Hero outfit with?
So what do you think, which letter A is the one for me? Leave your vote in the comments and I’ll let everyone know which one is the winner next week!
Super Heroes do more than just look great in capes, they also help their community! I am proud to be a supporter of animal rescues and helping shelter animals in need.
A few months ago I created a new page on my blog all about giving back. You can check it out HERE.
I love to do everything I can to help animals in need, so when an opportunity popped up to help a rescue of my choice, I jumped at the chance.
Blanket ID (makers of those fun id tags that keep your pets safe) recently launched a contest looking for cute sayings for their new id tags in their “Significant Others” collection. The winning saying will make it onto a Blanket ID tag in which $3 from every sale will go to the winner’s favorite animal rescue.
My tag submission, “My Hero”, recently made it to the top 10 finalists and is now in the running to be chosen!
Now I need your help to get my tag to the top!
You can vote for my tag (#4, My Hero) by just leaving a comment with the number 4 on the Blanket ID blog, on their Facebook page or emailing it to cate@blanketID.com, share it if you like as much as you can and help me and my chosen rescue. Voting ends Today, Monday 4th March at midnight. Click HERE to VOTE.
Regardless of whether or not my design wins (although it would be fun to win), animals in need will get a helping paw! And that’s the most important part!
The latest meme floating around right now is The Harlem Shake, a song that has sparked a series of dance videos to an instrumental song produced by the artist Baauer. And since I’m never one to miss out on a meme, I decided to do my own rendition.
I bet you are mad impressed with my dance skills right!? I’ve been practicing if you can’t tell.
Anyone else do their own rendition of the Harlem Shake? Let’s see it! Post your favorite ones in the comment section!
I decided that today needs to be a Super Hero Day! Because what’s more fun than a Super Hero Day?
So I rounded up a few of my recent Super Hero videos on Vine (you can follow me @kyleydiluigi) for your enjoyment today! I hope it makes your day extra Super!
I was playing with my next door neighbor, Harley the Rottweiler, when I happened to mention that I’m a Super Hero. She laughed and said “That’s silly Ammo, you don’t even have a Super Hero outfit”.
So I quickly bounded inside to show her that yes, in fact I do have a Super Hero outfit, and it is so awesome she won’t believe her eyes!
Behold the awesome-ness that is Super Ammo, protecter of canines and hunter of groundhogs.
I can burrow down a groundhog hole as fast and lightning and my paws are like rocket-powered shovels.
I visit the elderly and make children giggle.
I also like unicorns and believe in magic fairy dust….
Oh sweet glorious day! You’ll never guess what showed up on the farm!
You are gonna pee your pants in excitement, just like I did!
It’s a backhoe!! As in, ground hogs watch out, I’ve hit the hole-digging jackpot.
I’m totally serious when I say this (just look at my face), this is like the greatest day ever!
Only one problem, I can’t find the keys.
I asked mom for the keys, but she said that I wasn’t allowed to operate heavy machinery without my helmet – not to mention that the backhoe was for building Trooper’s new house, not for digging groundhog hunting holes. I tried to reason with her that Trooper would be thankful I used the backhoe to rid his future home-site of those pesky critters, but it was no use.
So it’s off to plan B. Does anyone know how to hot wire a backhoe?
This is Annie and her Dad. I met Annie on Sunday at the 4 Dogs Tavern while I was there grabbing some dinner with my mom and dad. Now normally I consider myself a pretty tough guy, but Annie, well she’s even tougher.
See this is Annie’s motorcycle! She has a special seat in the back and has her very own pink helmet and goggles. I was too embarrassed to tell Annie that I have a helmet too – except I use mine to play Super Heroes.
Not too cool when you’re trying to pick up chicks – well unless she’s a damsel in distress, but that’s another story.
Well Annie, I hope we meet again, because you’re one hot motorcycle mama!
