Memorial Day, a time to remember all of the fallen soldiers who have fought to protect this wonderful place I call home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
xoxo,Â
When Easter rolled around I could hardly wait to see what was in my basket this year.
My best pal Trooper came over to help me open it (and the Easter bunny had brought him a few treats too).
But, Trooper still doesn’t quite get the concept of opening presents, so he let me do all the work.
After all the unwrapping was done Trooper and I picked out our favorite toys from the bunch.
My favorite is this Thinker Maze* from the the Barkshop (that bunny certainly knows the best places to shop!).

Before long it was time for all my family to arrive at my house for Easter dinner, which included my newest little cousin whom I’m absolutely in love with! He’s already loving my wet doggy kisses!
Next up was the easter egg hunt! And while I had fun watching all my older cousins hunt for their eggs, I have to admit I was a little jealous.
They got so many goodies in those eggs too…including monies!
But guess what! My cousins decided to hide some dog friendly easter eggs around the yard specifically for me and Trooper to find!
Although poor Trooper didn’t quite grasp the concept, and the poor guy wandered around with a confused look on his face most of the time.
That’s ok though, because I had no problem collecting Trooper’s share of the eggs too!
After our egg hunt Trooper and I were pretty wiped out.
But don’t worry, there’s always one thing that never fails in perking me right up…..HAM!
Although sadly I didn’t actually get any holiday ham…despite my best sad face at dinnertime.
All in all I had a fantastic Easter with my family. Too bad we can’t celebrate every day!
How did you spend your holiday?Â
Even thought Christmas has come and gone, I haven’t forgotten about sharing just what sort of adventures I went on during my holiday break! So here’s my fun recap of all things Christmasy…
My Christmas eve started off pretty uneventful, as I still had to fulfill my shop dog duties for all the customers that needed to pick up their picture framing.
But eventually it was time to head over to Trooper’s house at the farm so that I could celebrate with him and my extended family.
I got busy right away helping to clean up around the kitchen. (apparently Trooper is slacking on his floor licking duties).
But elsewhere, the tree decorating fun was well underway! (and let’s be honest, my 6 foot 3Â Uncle Taylor was much more suited for putting the angel on top than short little me)
The rest of the night consisted of gift giving, sock stealing (on Trooper’s part), good times with my family, and maybe just a few naps too. Before I knew it, it was time to head home so that Santa could bring me some presents!
When I woke on Christmas morning I was so excited! Honestly, I wasn’t sure if Santa would bring me anything after I caught that bunny in the backyard, and got on the dining room table to steal food (oops). But I guess my “goodness” outweighed the bad this year, because he brought me lots of fun presents!
From a December Barkbox filled with fun treats and toys….
…to this great treat dispensing toy and peanut butter cookies from the Barkshop.
My favorite new toy though, the Bouncing Squirrel Tail mom and dad bought me from the Barkshop! (you can snag one for your pup from the Barkshop with code AMMO for a FREE PRIZE at checkout). I’ve been having a blast with my new toy over the past few weeks!
Christmas is always an exciting whirlwind, and just as things were winding down mom and dad said we had to get ready to go to my MomMom & PopPop’s house.
I always love going to MomMom & PopPop’s house, because without fail, PopPop always manages to “drop” food on the floor. 😉
There was also plenty of time for more gift giving and playing with my cousins too (who coincidently also LOVED my new Bouncing Squirrel Tail too).
Christmas with my family is always a special time. Despite my excitement about all the gifts and food, my very favorite part is getting to be with the one’s I love.
Of course if you know me and my family, then you know that even though Christmas was over, the fun never stops at my house. The day after Christmas I was hitting the hiking trail with more of my family! After all, we had to burn off all those Christmas dinner calories we had the day before!
I’m already counting down the days until next Christmas! What sort of fun did you have for the holiday?Â
December has always been a whirlwind for me. Mostly because mom and I are always super busy at the shop fulfilling all the Christmas orders. Thanks for sticking around for all the fun!
Happy Holidays!Â
It’s crunch time for me and my mom this week at the shop, so I’ve got my very best helper hat on and I’m busy busy helping mom finish up all the picture framing orders.
So I don’t have a fun video, or a long adventure post, or even any pictures of me on the farm to share today…..just little old me in my very best helper hat.
It’s a very important job being a helper dog, and I hope you’ll understand that today all my helper duties are being used at the shop!
Until my next adventure that is! See you soon. xoxo,Â

A few months ago I did something very bad. I know, it’s so out of character for me seeing as how I’m always on my best behavior (at least that’s what I tell everyone). In my defense though, I didn’t really feel like being left home alone with Trooper at his house.
I began to regret my unfortunate decision to leave my “mark” on Trooper’s brand-new door when mom announced that I would have to stay in my crate whenever I am left alone at my buddy’s house.
The crate?? But don’t they know how much I HATE being left in that thing!
So thus began the adventure of my mom conditioning me to enjoy (as much as one can) being in my crate at Trooper’s house.
You may remember a few weeks ago I introduced you to a new Wireless Camera that mom and dad used to keep an eye on me when they were away from home. Well the Vimtag Camera began to play an important role in my crate training as well.
After setting me up in my crate with a fun toy filled with peanut butter, mom would set up the Vimtag Camera before heading out the door.
With the ability to view my every move from the Vimtag Wireless App, mom would head out the stable to watch my progress with my buddy Boomerang.
Starting with short sessions to being with, she’d leave me in a crate for 10 – 15 minutes at a time.
With the ability to not only see what I was doing, but also hear whether I was crying or barking too, mom was able to time coming back into the house to release me from my crate at a moment when I had actually calmed down and relaxed.
Thus the Vimtag Camera made it possible for her to only release me when I was in a calm state, rewarding me for being quiet and patient.
Thanks to Vimtag, I’m getting more and more comfortable with being in my crate at Trooper’s house. Mom says it’s been invaluable to my training, and made the process go so much quicker!
Make sure you read all about the cool features of the Vimtag Wireless Video Monitoring Camera on my previous post, and you can fetch your own (and still receive it for the holidays with prime shipping!) from Vimtag on Amazon!

The holiday season can be sort of a crazy time around my house. Presents to buy, parties to attend, all while trying to help my mom with the busy holiday rush at her shop. It can get pretty exhausting for everyone.
Don’t worry though, when it comes time to wrap all the holiday presents I’m always around to lend a helping paw.
Even if it means I have to work through my nap time.
Merry Christmas!Â

My holiday spirit is in full swing, and last weekend it was time for me to venture out in search of my very special Christmas tree.
Dad was leading the way, and when Dad leads the way I know we’re going to be on the hunt for hours until he finds the absolute PERFECT Christmas tree.
Good thing mom thought ahead and packed me a snack.
These Sojos Simply Lamb Freeze-Dried Treats from my friends at Chewy.com were just what I needed to keep my energy up on the hunt for my tree.
Key Benefits
Yum!
My tree hunting snack worked too, because it gave me the boost I needed to find THE PERFECT HOLIDAY TREE!
With a little help from Dad and his sawing skills, we chopped down the tree I picked out and headed home.
Then it was time for the fun part. Parking myself on the couch to watch mom and dad decorate my tree.
Paws crossed Santa brings me more Sojos treats from Chewy.com! You can fetch some for your dog from my friends at Chewy.
Does your dog help to supervise decorating your tree?
