It’s interesting how my sleeping habits change with the seasons. You’ll notice in this next installment of “Oh The Places You Sleep” that I’m not sleeping outside as much now that the weather has cooled, and I’ve gotten much more creative in where I’m finding warmth! Since my official Birthday was on Monday (I’m 7 woohoo!) I bet you’re all wondering what exactly I did to celebrate the special day. So I made this fun video to show you just how things went down on the anniversary of my birth…
As you can see other than opening my presents I did a whole lot of napping in the sun around the farm with my buddy Trooper. It wasn’t exciting, it wasn’t adventurous, but it’s exactly what I wanted to do on my Birthday!
And did you notice? My best buddy even gave me the big dog bed because it was my Birthday!

After spending nearly 2 months stuck at home helping mom and dad work on my new kitchen (which I promise I will share the finished project just as soon as the finishing touches are done), I was ready for some excitement. So mom and dad decided we needed a break over labor day weekend. Now most people would probably consider a break parking themselves on the couch all weekend, or soaking in some sun on the beach (which does sound nice), but instead, we do things a little wild around here.
I packed in as much excitement as I could over my 3-day weekend. From meeting the Budweiser Clydesdales in downtown West Chester (and their cool dalmatian sidekick Barley), antique shopping, dining out, stacking hay at the farm, hiking with my pal Shilah the Husky, and soaking in the last rays of summer – I did ALL THE THINGS!
Too bad every weekend is not a 3-day weekend! And also, can you believe that my mom baked cookies and I couldn’t even have any. Seriously? We’re gonna have a talk about that later.
What sort of activities did you pack in over labor day weekend?
I bet you never knew napping could be so interesting? Well when you’re a dog and you nap 90% of your life, you tend to get a little creative. Here’s where I’ve been napping over the past month…
