Since last week I celebrated my 8th Birthday I thought I would share just how I decided to celebrate.
Now my sister is only 2 months old, so she doesn’t even know what a Birthday is yet. So I decided to show her exactly what you do on Birthdays…
If I can help it, my sister is going to be the very best present unwrapped when she grows up!
How do you celebrate your dog’s birthday? 
Today is my 8th Birthday! A day of celebration!
Just as in previous years I love to take this day to look back at all the amazing adventures I’ve had over the past year. So mom helped me whip up my year in review video, with lots of never before shared pictures and videos of me and my sister!
This year I’ve got a new Birthday buddy to share all the fun with, who coincidentally also turns 8 weeks old on the 7th!
So kick up your heels and join me in celebrating my 8th Birthday! Something tells me this next year is going to be full of fun and I can’t wait!
What’s better than watermelon on a hot summer day? I’ll tell you what….
…a party for a horse! Not just any horse, but my pal Willis! See way back last year he got a pretty bad leg injury in the pasture (here we are watching a time-lapse video of his serious wound, and don’t worry, I spared you the close-up details). Since he’s about to turn 30 years old this year….and finally over his injury, we decided to throw a party to celebrate!
Everyone on the farm pitched in to help Willis heal, myself included. I was entertainment for him when he was stuck inside for months, and I helped keep him company on his daily walks.
After some food and reminiscing about how far Willis has come, we all headed out to the barn to see the big guy himself.
Willis’ owner, and even the vet who helped save him along with everyone else at the farm came out to celebrate.
Willis got a big “carrot cake” and lots of love since we’re all so happy to see him recovered.
Even Minnow was excited for the party, although he may have been a bit jealous he didn’t get a carrot cake too.
Finally time to relax, since Mr. Willis is going to be just fine now. You hear that Willis? No more injuries, because this dog can’t take another one!

Last weekend I attended a Surprise Birthday Party, well to be more accurate I hosted a Surprise Birthday Party for my MomMom. (above you can see me anxiously awaiting the arrival of our special guest with my party hat on)
With so many guests in attendance I bet you’re thinking I was probably the life of the party (being the only dog that was invited and all). Now normally I would say you are correct, and to follow there would be lots of photos of me doing Birthday Party type things, only this time I was infatuated with one particular guest only.
You see, my littlest cousin is about as close to the floor as you can get (at least for the humans)….so I knew that if I stuck to my cousin like glue that inevitably I would end up with some of that yummy party food in my belly.
Yup, you better believe I snagged some carrots and maybe a few crackers too! And for those of you dogs out there that don’t like having children in your home….you haven’t lived until those short little people carry around food at dog height! BEST DAY EVER.

I kicked off July by reaping my annual camping trip, that came with lots and lots of rain!
I celebrated the 4th of July!
I tested out what is now my new favorite dog life vest from my friends at Ruffwear.
Things dried out on my camping trip, and I went fishing!
I visited the Beltzville Lake with my pal Shilah the Husky.
I shared Vol. 4 of my crazy sleeping spots. Things got a little weird.

My dad read me a super hero bedtime story.
I helped my parents start a kitchen renovation project.

I shared some toys with my kitty pal Spider.

For the second time this year I was invited to a very special lady’s 90th Birthday Party!
My dear friend Olga is one of my favorite customers at my shop, and without fail she always brings me a bag of cookies (and lots of sweet kisses) every time she visits.
So I was so very excited when I was invited to Olga’s Surprise 90th Birthday Party with all of her friends and family.
Now one thing to know about my friend Olga is that she’s one of the biggest dog (and pony) lovers there ever was. And over the years she has accumulated a lot of furry friends – including my pal Minnow who she met at one of his very first public appearances ever!
So as you can imagine there were a lot of 4 legged attendees at Olga’s party.
Olga even had her pony friend Rainy come to visit her!
Now really, a birthday party with dogs AND ponies…..best birthday party ever in my book!
A very Happy Birthday to my dear friend Olga! I wish you many many more, and next year I think we should invite even more ponies to your party!

Every year I host an Epic Halloween Party at my house, where all the party goers are required to dress up within a certain theme. This year’s theme was dead people, as in celebrities, historical figures, or characters that are no longer living or met their fate in a movie or tv show. As you already know, I dressed up as the American Icon, Evel Knievel.
Dad decided to dress as Bernie from Weekend at Bernie’s and Mom was Ellie from Up.
One of these years we keep saying we’ll all dress up as a group costume – maybe next year will be the year!
I was really excited when my best friend Trooper showed up to my party though, dressed as the equally as famous, Rin Tin Tin.
Well before my time, I did have to google a photo of him – but he sounded like a pretty cool dog!
And just like most dogs, Mr. Rin Tin Tin had a thing for Evel Knievel helmets – mostly because my head resembled one great big tennis ball!
You know it’s going to be a good party when Rin Tin Tin and Evel Knievel have a wrestling match before it even gets started!
My party ended up being a smashing success – even if I did have to wait in the refreshment line exceptionally long!
And by the end of the night, this Evel Knievel was pooped! I better rest up though, because it will be time for my annual Halloween Party again before I know it!
