On Saturday I took a trip to the Devon Horse Show Grounds for the Fall Classic Jumper Show.
The Devon Show Grounds are known to be an uber friendly dog place, meaning dogs are allowed in the shops (many of which carry items for pets), we can sit in the stands with our humans, and we even have our very own water fountains.
Now I’m no stranger to Devon, however during this particular trip I did something a little unexpected and different.
I took a trip to The Mutt Room! The Mutt Room is a mini portrait studio run by Brenda Carpenter (the official photographer for Devon events), and is designed so that your 4 legged friend can get a personal portrait session. Now seeing that I can never pass up the opportunity to get my picture taken, I just had to see what it was like to be in a professional studio.
Inside the studio it was filled with super fun dog portraits and there were treats and toys everywhere! This was totally my kind of adventure.
Brenda said I was a natural behind the camera as I showed her all of my amazing poses. I can hardly contain my excitement to see the results of my photoshoot – I’m sure my photos will make all the ladies swoon!
And now that I’m officially a pro behind the camera, I may just have to get an agent and start booking magazine shoots. I have no doubt you’ll see me on the cover of Vogue and Sports Illustrated someday soon!

Seeing as how I’m now a movie star with my recent Painting Pony Video Debut (not to mention I’ve been on Animal Planet too), I figured it was high time I did what every celebrity does…….GET GLAMOUR SHOTS!
So I went to my favorite portrait studio, Glamour Shots by Mom, and let the camera do it’s magic.
The camera loves me, don’t you think? I’m GLORIOUS!
Next time I’ll have to get my majestic unicorn to join in on the fun. It will be epic.
Yesterday Mom and Dad did something totally crazy and thrilling and adventurous – and I wasn’t even invited!
They went zip lining without me! Can you believe it!?
I was pretty annoyed that I wasn’t allowed to go along, even after I offered to provide my own helmet, so I decided to have an adventure of my own on the farm.
Mountain Climbing is much more exciting anyway!
Yeah, you go ahead and have your thrills while safely tethered to a zip line – I on the other hand live life on the edge, and you’ll see no safety net here.

Time on the farm, dinner out with mom and dad, homemade pickles, napping, and a trip to the ice cream shop. It was the perfect way to spend my weekend.Â

Life on my family horse farm can be quite peaceful. I enjoy spending a lot of my time around the ponies – just quietly soaking in all the sounds and smells of the farm.
Yes – it CAN BE quite peaceful. But other days, there are groundhogs to hunt!
On these days, peaceful and quiet is not an option, as I’m sure you understand!Â
Did you know that I’m a photo bomber? Oh yes, I crash pretty much every photo my mom ever takes! I hear the click of the camera shutter and I come running – no sprinting! Which is exactly what happened when mom tried to take photos for the online Studio 3 Etsy Shop yesterday….

What can I say, I was born to be in front of the camera! Don’t you agree?
You might think that during my 3-day weekend for memorial day that most of my time would be spend lounging around and relaxing. But if you are a regular reader of my blog, then you know that this is simply not going to fly around my house – and you better believe that I packed as many adventures in as I could! By the end of the weekend I was so tired I even slept through dinner!
I kicked off the weekend by celebrating my Aunt Laurel’s graduation from the University of Delaware.
Even though I physically didn’t get to attend Laurel’s graduation as a certified Athletic Trainer I was there in spirit as mom texted me photos from the event so I could watch from home.
But I did get to wear my blue and gold proudly for the graduation party held at the farm the next day.
I kept busy all day and played a whole bunch of yard games with the party goers.
Cornhole is my new favorite, and I’m fairly certain that I was the only one playing properly. Winning!
And just like any function on the family farm, the magical ponies unicorns made their appearance as the graduate was made to participate in an embarrassing obstacle challenge.
I let my pal Trooper handle the judging this time while I manned the camera with mom, as I wasn’t going to miss a second of this train wreck.
Eventually the graduate crossed over the bridge to her future with her trusty steed Jet!
And we all cheered!
By this point in the day I was pretty zonked, but I pulled it all together, because I’m never one to miss family portrait time!
Awww how cute.
Trooper of course decided to kick off the extended family portrait with a bang!
And it was all down hill after that!
I’m so lucky to be a part of so many family adventures!
But, next time I might have to recruit a stunt double, because this pup was not prepared for the awesomeness that is GRADUATION DAY!Â
Well it’s finally time to bid my Birthday week farewell. I am a little sad, but I think it’s time for some new adventures! I hope everyone had fun, and I’m glad you could join me in celebration of my Third Birthday.
I definitely had a wild week – evident by the amount of cleanup mom says I have.
It’s going to be hard to top Birthday week next year, so I’ll have to spend all year planning!
Now can someone tell me who ate all my Birthday cookies? Because it certainly couldn’t have been me.
