One of the things mom got for Christmas this year was a new camera lens.

Dubbed a “nifty fifty” lens, mom’s new lens has been praised by professional pet photographers for it’s use in taking portraits of many a furry friends.

While mom is busy learning how to take better pictures with said camera lens, I bet you can guess who her guinea pig has been.

Although it’s still to-be-determined if this lens is capable of capturing my stunning good looks.

Regardless, it’s pretty exhausting being a guinea pig, and I think I’ve earned a 3 hour nap after this photoshoot.

It’s Turkey Day here in the states! And you know what that means….Turkey!

Last week I asked my Facebook fans what I should wear for my Thanksgiving Day feast, and I got some great suggestions. I figured it was a pretty safe bet that my bow tie would be a Turkey-Day hit.

It’s dressy, but not too dressy that I can’t still run around outside and wrestle with my bestest buddy Trooper.

But I just know as we approach “meal time” that my Turkey-Day bow tie just won’t cut it.

Which is exactly why I packed my stretchy pants this year!

An Acme Halloween

After much anticipation I’m now ready to reveal my epic Halloween Costume! Many of you took guesses on my facebook page as to what I would be wearing this year – and some of you even guessed right!

This year I dressed as the famous Wile E. Coyote from the popular Looney Toons Cartoon!

I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to chase that speedy Roadrunner, not to mention Wile E. Coyote had some pretty cool accessories via the Acme Catalog. The dude knew how to shop!

Mom helped me make a coyote hood for my costume out of fabric, wire, velcro, and hot glue – and yes, I am aware that it makes me look irresistibly cute! You’re welcome.

My Acme rocket may have not been from the official “Acme Catalog”, but mom did her best to build it’s likeness out of an old soda bottle, some cereal boxes, paint, elastic & rope.

So with my outfit complete I was ready to start hunting that roadrunner!

I was sooo close, but that darn Acme Rocket malfunctioned and he got away.

Barn Raising

Trooper and I were hanging out on the farm this morning because the Timber Frame has arrived for the new farmhouse.

The Timbers arrived on the truck to be used in the construction of Trooper’s new post and beam house being built on the farm.

My initial inspection earned a paws up review from me – and I told the boys to start loading up the crane!

After the crane piled all the timbers into the new house, Trooper and I were anxious to see how they would put them together.

We watched from afar for a bit, but eventually we just couldn’t wait any longer to get our paws dirty too.

So Trooper convinced his mom and dad that we would promise to be safe if they let us get a little closer to see just how a post and beam house is constructed.

As you can imagine, Trooper was very excited!

I was enthralled with watching the construction workers help the crane lower the beams into the house.

But the very best part – getting to watch Trooper’s Dad pound some of the very first pegs into the timber frame.

It was a VERY exciting day, and Trooper even got to keep a souvenir of the day! Lucky!

Birthday Week: Ammo turns Four!

Today is my Birthday! Hooray!

In the past four years I have been on so many adventures! From riding in airplanes, paddleboarding, performing with the Painting Ponies, painting pictures, and just lounging around the house – each day has been an amazing ride.

I’m looking forward to many more years of adventures – and I can’t wait to share them with all of you!

There are still so many things I have yet to do and see, and a World that is just begging to be sniffed by me!

So excuse me if I spend today shouting Hooray! a whole bunch of times, I’m just uber excited to be turning four – and I can’t wait to tear into my presents tonight.

Three cheers for me!

Now here’s to hoping I can stay awake for my party – being an adventurer is super exhausting!

The Half Smile

It’s no secret that my mom takes TONS of photos of me. Like for every one you see on my blog there are probably 20 that don’t make the cut.

Now even though I know I’m like the holy grail of cuteness when it comes to dogs, that’s a lot of photos if you think about it – and it also pretty much means that I have a camera in my face 24/7.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love having my photo taken, but sometimes I’m not always in the photogenic mood.

No, sometimes I’m just plain tired and try as I might I just can’t muster the energy to put on a show for the camera.

But just as soon as I decide I’d much rather take a nap during today’s photoshoot I’m reminded of all of you.

Yes, I’m reminded of those of you reading my blog in secret at work, or sneaking a peek on your phone during class, or waiting to catch a glimpse of my adorable mug on my Facebook page. And I am ashamed. Ashamed for showing you a photo of my behind – while still very adorable – it just doesn’t cut it.

Quiet Days on the Farm
