You might remember a couple of months ago when I introduced my little Super Hero on the Wall – a commissioned painting of yours truly by Kim at Yellow Brick Home.
Well, as it turns out, my Painting Pony pals were a wee bit jealous – so never ones to be left out, mom ordered some custom paintings of them too.
Minnow rocked the blue canvas as he reared high into the air – such a classic Minnow pose.
Blitz and Boomerang, the inseparable brothers (who couldn’t even be separated for the painting), looked extra cute on their lime green canvas. Boomerang even flashed his famous smile.
I don’t know about you, but I think we make one big happy family!
I do have a secret to tell you though…….as much as I love ALL of the paintings…..I do have a favorite……can you guess which one it is?
You can get your own custom pet paintings from Kim @ Yellow Brick Home (make sure you tell her the cutest Super Hero EVER sent you!)
*I was not paid or perk’d to write this post – I’m just super super excited to share the ponies’ paintings!
So I’m totally swooning over the selection of wooden pet id tags I found at the Etsy shop, Cropscotch.
Crafted out of the highest grade woods and hardwoods on the market, our custom Pet ID tags and necklaces are laser cut, hand sanded, engraved and finished with a clear, non-toxic matte coat to ensure maximum strength, protection and weather resistance.
Cropscotch even carries a line of jewelry for your human friends to! They mention that they can create custom id tags/jewelry to fit your own personal style. I’m thinking dachshunds in super hero capes, what about you?
I like to think I’m a pretty smart guy, so when I came across a line of Interactive Dog Toys from Trixie (sold online only at Petsmart) it had me wondering if they could really stump me.
Designed to test your dog’s intelligence and keep them thinking, these line of Interactive Dog Toys look like so much fun! With levers, nobs and hidden flaps the goal is to find the hidden treats by completing tasks that get your dog thinking. Each toy is rated by difficulty from Level 1 (the easiest) through Level 3. This is one product that is definitely on my wish list!
You can fetch these neat Interactive Dog Toys from Trixie online at Petsmart, they range in price from $15.99 – $35.99.
Any of my pals tested out the Trixie line of Dog Toys? Were you stumped? Do tell!
So today when I got to work there was a surprise package for me waiting at the shop. I’m no stranger to getting mail at the shop, but this was an unexpected package.
When I opened it up it was filled with goodies from the Polka Dog Bakery at Target! And there was a letter from Bullseye the Target Dog saying he noticed my post online and wanted to send me a couple of his favorite Polka Dog Products.
I was totally blushing that Bullseye even knew my name!! And then I realized there was really only one thing to do when a package of goodies arrives at the shop……FASHION SHOW!
Somehow Bullseye knew that all the Polka Dog products would match perfectly with my Super Hero Cape too.
Of course I broke into the box of cookies before anything else!
Every Super Hero needs to accessorize and these Polka Dog items are just so fun and vibrant that they make me the happiest Hero around.
Thanks for making my day Bullseye, and you are always welcome to come over and play Super Heroes with me anytime!
You can check out all the cool new products from the Polka Dog Bakery at Target HERE!
It’s no secret that I love to shop (who doesn’t?), and I’m always so excited when I find a super cool new product or shop.
Recently Target stores across the country launched The Shops, which is a collection of products from local boutique stores like Cos Bar, Privet House, The Candy Store, The Webster, and my personal favorite The Polka Dog Bakery. So just like any good dog mom, my mom headed to Target yesterday to check it out for me while I waited in the car (since sadly I couldn’t sneak in myself). Each store varies in their merchandise, but you can check out most of their collection online.
Of course just scoping out the new products isn’t enough – you have to physically test the merchandise!
So mom came home with a Dog Toy and a box of cookies for me to try.
If you can’t tell by the look on my face, it was a glorious day!
My ice cream sandwich may have not tasted like the real thing, but it was fantastic just the same.
Not only did it squeak, but it was filled with stuffing too!
I eventually broke a hole in my ice cream sandwich, so it doesn’t squeak anymore – but it’s still just as fun to play with. Plus, mom says I look super adorable when I nibble on it.
Later mom let me snack on some of the Polka Dog Bakery treats, which were an all-natural chicken flavor.
They get an A++ from me for yumminess! In fact, I’m so in love with my Polka Dog Bakery items that I’m already trying to convince mom to raid all of the Target’s in my area for more fun items from the collection.
Anyone else spot fun items from The Polka Dog Bakery at their local Target? You can post your finds on my Facebook page so we can all drool over their fabulous items!
P.S. Dear Target & The Polka Dog Bakery, if you are reading this, I am more than happy to test all of your merchandise! It would be a big time commitment, but I’m willing to dedicate myself to the cause! 😉

Being a small dog I’m always on the lookout for cool harnesses that work well with my short legs. Also I’m a bit picky and don’t like having straps between my front legs – which somewhat limits my harness finds.
Recently I stumbled upon The Cool Puppy on Etsy, which carries a line of dog collars and leather harnesses for dogs that gives us doggies freedom of movement!
They are made of 100% leather and boast being both comfortable and durable for your dog.
You can fetch your own Harnesses and Collars at The Cool Puppy.
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and since I’m my Mom’s only “fur child” I thought I’d round up some ideas that would be fit for any Doggie Mom! (Just don’t show this to my mom!)
You might remember that for Christmas I got a special little gift card from my Mom & Dad to get a custom painting of myself from Yellow Brick Home. Well, a few days ago a little package arrived at my door from the very talented Kim Vargo.
I couldn’t believe how much it looked like me! Mom says she even captured the special feisty little look in my eyes.
After modeling for a few photos with Mom and sending Kim some of my favorites from years past, I was so excited to see the results. Kim even said I was the very first Super Hero she got to paint! (I’m the cutest too, right?)
Mom hung it up in my home office for me, and I really can’t help but stare at it all day long!
Oh handsome little hero on the wall – you are just way too cool!
You can get your own custom pet paintings from Kim @ Yellow Brick Home (make sure you tell her the cutest Super Hero EVER sent you!)

I’m a super duper fan of Silly Buddy (did you know he’s a real dog? Hi Buddy!), in fact all the collars I own have been made by Buddy’s mom. So when I got wind of their new Spring Bow Tie Collection I was so excited to share it with you.
The colors are so bright and fun – perfect for springtime weather! I’ll take one in every color please.
You can fetch your own Silly Buddy Collar HERE. And just in case you are wondering…..the ladies can totally rock the bow tie look too!
