The farrier had been to the farm and left behind a hoof trimming – which is a real delicacy for us dogs!
As you can see my friend Boomerang thought it was quite comical that I was chewing on a piece of horse hoof – I’m sure he was thinking “if you only knew where that’s been”. But Boomerang, you forget, I know where you’ve stepped – and I like the taste of horse manure too! hehe.
I was so excited to meet the 3rd grade class that I’d be reading to, I could hardly wait. I even wore my special super hero cape, because I knew the kids would love it.
After mom helped me read the book I brought, I then got to show all the kids my super cool tricks – like playing dead, jumping through a hoop, and giving some awesome high-fives.
Not to brag, but the kids didn’t even want to go to their lunch because they were having so much fun petting me. They even dressed me up in a Dr. Suess hat!
And had I packed my lunch that day – I probably would of stayed too.
Going to school was so much fun, kinda makes me wish I could go every day!
Ok, so you all know how I LOVE super heroes right? I mean I dress up on a regular basis in my super hero cape and stunt helmet! So when I came across the Marvel Comics pet collection by Chi WOW WOW I was hooked.
Their collection includes dog apparel, dog carriers, dog collars and leashes, dog beds, and other accessories in the marvel comic super hero theme. They even have a Spider Man dog dress for the ladies!
You can fetch your own Marvel Comic pet gear on FunnyFur.com – I’ve got my eye on the hulk and wolverine t-shirts!
It was really tough waking myself up early to head to the expo so I could man the booth, so mom served me breakfast in bed every morning.
This particular hotel was pretty nice – except my bed could have been a little cushier. When you work hard all day it’s nice to have a comfy place to rest your head at night. But, not to worry – I’m an expert at hotel bed fluffing.
Check back tomorrow to find out what I did all day at the Expo!
My Monday post is a tad later today than normal, because I’ve been busy helping Mom unpack from the Horse Expo.
Honestly, I’m surprised there was even room for me in the car this trip, because apparently ponies don’t know how to pack light.
I promise to have a full recap of my Expo experience just as soon as I can dig myself out of the car! And if you just can’t wait any longer, you can check out my Facebook page for some photos from my exciting trip.
P.S. I’m slightly worried I may have left my favorite bone under the bed in the hotel – so keep your paws crossed that it turns up somewhere!
I admit, I don’t always like to be carried around (how are you gonna have adventures when you can’t strike out on your own) – but sometimes A. You get tired, and B. The only way to sneak into a place you aren’t allowed is to hitch a ride. And honestly, riding in a grocery tote is not super ideal.
So when I came across Pet Slings, I knew it was something I had to add to my wish list.
Pet Slings are reversible slings with a pocket. The in-seam pocket is perfect for storing unused dog waste bags. Pet Slings are the comfortable way to carry your pet. Our carrier holds pets up to 30 pounds. Pet Slings roll up small so you can keep one handy in case your pet gets tired of walking.
Guess what! I won’t be having to build any Super Forts in my basement anytime soon….because I’m traveling along with Painting Pony, Minnow, for our big trip to the PA Horse World Expo in Harrisburg, PA.
I’ve been helping mom pack the horse trailer all week – with what seems like the entire contents of Minnow’s bedroom. How many bags of cardboard bedding does he really need anyway?
I’m pretty sure we have everything for our trip….
…and perhaps a few stowaways too! (wouldn’t be the first time).
You can visit me at the Pa Horse World Expo Thursday – Sunday at booth #607 & 608 and also keep up with all of my adventures during the event on my Facebook page. Visit the blog next week to hear about all the fun I had!
