Don’t you wish it could be summer forever? I sure do, because I always seem to have so much fun in the summer!

I got my running in with my new activity tracker from Poof!

I contemplated starting my own lake school.

I celebrated yet another happy month with Baby P.

I had a blast turning my likeness into Pop Art.

I went on a shopping trip with my sister.

I shared some of the fun summer products I’m currently digging.

I visited the pool.

I got detained on the farm.

And that brings us to August! Can you believe it’s just about been an entire year since my sister Baby P was born? Boy, time really flies when you’re having fun.

Sometimes on shopping trips I start to get that feeling when my feet start dragging, I want to lay down and take a nap, and I just can’t shop ANYMORE.

My little sister gets that feeling too, but she knows exactly what to do to make sure we all can keep going!

Snacks! And since our mom is always prepared with goodies to eat, we never have to worry about the dreaded shopping sleepies.

So while my sister snacked away and warded off those shopping sleepies I started to wonder if I was going to get my little pick-me-up.

Sigh. It was looking like I’d have to make it through this trip to Lowes without a snack.

But then, as luck would have it, a tiny little hand appeared over the edge of the shopping cart.

I should have known, Baby P would NEVER let her best buddy go hungry.

Crisis averted. Goodbye shopping sleepies, hello crackers! I’m ready to go another 5 hours (ok well maybe just another 30 minutes).

I’m Digging: Vol 2

Because everyone knows I’ve got the best taste out of all the dogs out there (they’re all super jelly) I’ve rounded up some of my favorite things this week.

Here’s what I’m digging this week:

Mom actually purchased this item, the GoGo Stik for me off of Amazon just before Easter. What is it? Well it’s a handy tool for my parents to use to pick up my poo! You can use any plastic bag with it (grocery bags work great) and it makes it easy for the ‘rents to pick up my mess in the back yard with one hand (while holding the baby with the other). They’ve already used it a few times now and think it’s fantastic!

Baby Placemat

Baby P just got this silicone placemat from Amazon. I like it because it’s got a cute dog shape, which is of course P’s favorite animal, and mom likes it because it suctions (really well) to her high chair which helps keep the food from falling on the floor. (don’t worry, she still throws plenty of treats my way!).

The Farmer's Dog

Several months ago I got to test out a new food called The Farmer’s Dog (which I totally forgot to tell you about until now). Not only did I dig the name, but I dug the food too. Fresh cooked food gets delivered to your door for your pet, the bulk of which you freeze for later. I scarfed up all the goodness for several weeks and while I loved the food it was a little difficult for my lifestyle since I tend to eat my food on the go a lot (and this stuff needs to stay in the fridge or freezer). But for dogs that don’t have that problem it’s a great healthy option that as a bonus requires no additional work for your humans!

*full disclosure, I did receive a free sample to test out, but I wouldn’t be telling you about it if I didn’t think it was good for your dogs too.

Suddenly I’ve realized this entire post has turned into a roundup for eating and pooping products…..which also pretty much sums up my life. 😉

February 2017 Monthly Recap

This February was amazing, mostly because I had so many warm Spring-like days! So crazy! And I also had a lot of fun adventures, so that too.

And now it’s time for my February adventures…

I finally got to play Dress-up with my sister, and it was everything I thought it’d be!

I shared just how much activity I’m actually getting on a daily basis.

I shared a Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Dogs.

I celebrated the fact that my sister is now 1/2 a year old.

I shared my own rendition of a classic kids song.

I popped some tags at the thrift store.

I wrote an ode to my mailman.

I shared my spring to-do list.

I invited everyone in to tour my sister’s castle.

And so begins my March! I’m looking forward to a warm (and super early) Spring, how about you?

Trips to my local hardware store are a pretty common occurrence for me. I’ve come to look forward to perusing the isles for all the special DIY materials mom and dad are looking for for their next big project.

The employees always seem surprised with how well behaved I am and how unfazed I am with all the loud noises going on in the lumber department.

I just smile and nod, because I’m pretty much sound proof at this point thanks to all the DIY projects mom and dad take on!

It’s that time of year when it seems I find myself visiting the hardware store almost every weekend. Mom and Dad are always coming up with projects that need to be done around the house in the Spring. Mom says it’s the perfect place for me to tag along and practice all my “behaving in public” skills, as I inevitably get a little rusty over the winter.

I beg to differ on the “rusty” part, I mean just look how good my sit/stay is!

And my self control (even when I smell critters in the garden center) is pretty good too (well most of the time!).
