Sometimes on shopping trips I start to get that feeling when my feet start dragging, I want to lay down and take a nap, and I just can’t shop ANYMORE.

Snacks! And since our mom is always prepared with goodies to eat, we never have to worry about the dreaded shopping sleepies.

So while my sister snacked away and warded off those shopping sleepies I started to wonder if I was going to get my little pick-me-up.

February 2017 Monthly Recap

This February was amazing, mostly because I had so many warm Spring-like days! So crazy! And I also had a lot of fun adventures, so that too.

And now it’s time for my February adventures…

I finally got to play Dress-up with my sister, and it was everything I thought it’d be!

I shared just how much activity I’m actually getting on a daily basis.

I shared a Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Dogs.

I celebrated the fact that my sister is now 1/2 a year old.

I shared my own rendition of a classic kids song.

I popped some tags at the thrift store.

I wrote an ode to my mailman.

I shared my spring to-do list.

I invited everyone in to tour my sister’s castle.

And so begins my March! I’m looking forward to a warm (and super early) Spring, how about you?

Back in September I went on a very important adventure with my sister that I forgot to share. How could I forget? We went to Petco!

It’s arguably one of the most important trips in a young baby’s life. I mean how else is she going to know where to shop for me?

While I was there I even got to pick out a FREE pound of cookies thanks to the Birthday club. I never say no to cookies. And lucky for me my sister doesn’t eat cookies, so I didn’t even have to share.

Now sister, we are going to go through every square inch of this store while I explain to you which are the best treats & toys. It’s going to take a while, but be oh-so-worth it for your education. You can thank me when you’re older.

Ok, so I know Halloween is over and it’s now November, but I just had to share one final “October” adventure that I just know you’ll love.

See just before Halloween my mom and dad found this new orchard near my house that is super dog friendly! Because surprisingly most orchards in my area don’t allow pets, which is very odd to me.

*side note – I always call ahead when planning an adventure to find out if I’m allowed to accompany my family. You’d be surprised how pet friendly some places can be if you just ask first!

So I was thrilled to find out that I was allowed to accompany my family into the fields to pick out our pumpkins this year.

Next year I’m totally going to pick apples with my sister too! I’m just waiting for her to get a little taller so I can get a boost up in that tree!

Picking out pumpkins for everyone in the family wasn’t enough, because when it’s Halloween you have to carve them!

But since my sister is too little, and I have paws, that left mom and dad to do the dirty work. Don’t worry, I barked directions at them the whole time.

A short while later we had 4 pumpkins ready and waiting to be lit for Halloween night!

Granted they may not have been quite as elaborate as years past, but when you’re trying to squeeze in some pumpkin carving while your sister naps it’s about as good as it gets.

Unfortunately I don’t own Goldilocks and the Three Bears (you better get on that mom!), but I do have this really fun book about National Parks*, and you all know how much I love the great outdoors!
