After yesterday’s photography studio debacle, I decided I needed to redeem myself. What better way to do so than with some sexy photos for all the ladies out there! I’m sure you’ll agree after seeing all this eye candy….
Why, Hello Ladies! *wink*

Why, Hello Ladies! *wink*
The other day mom set up a little photo studio for me in the spare room at my house. So I figured why not give it a little whirl? What could go wrong?
It started off innocently enough – I’m such a natural in front of the camera that mom says it’s hard to take a bad photo of me.
But then we started busting out some props (more like whatever mom could grab in arm’s length), and I should of known right then that things would take a turn for the worse.
And before I knew it I was wearing women’s accessories!
If you are new to this blog then I better set things straight right now, I AM A BOY! (despite what these photos may suggest).
I just hope Trooper doesn’t see this! He’ll never let me live it down.
You might remember that last month I had my photo taken by professional photographer, Brenda Carpenter, in the Mutt Room during the Devon Fall Classic Horse Show.
I love the photos Brenda took of me so much, that I could hardly decide which ones to order. But while I wait for my prints to arrive in the mail, Brenda was kinda enough to send me over some digital images to share on the blog with all of my friends.
During the photoshoot I did my hardest to channel my inner Gisele.
This is my “business in the front, party in the back” pose.
I use this stone-cold look when I’m hunting groundhogs, if only looks could kill!
I even dressed up for the ladies with my spiffy bowtie from Silly Buddy.
And my favorite pose of the day…… “please mom, can I have another cookie”. Works every time!
On Saturday I took a trip to the Devon Horse Show Grounds for the Fall Classic Jumper Show.
The Devon Show Grounds are known to be an uber friendly dog place, meaning dogs are allowed in the shops (many of which carry items for pets), we can sit in the stands with our humans, and we even have our very own water fountains.
Now I’m no stranger to Devon, however during this particular trip I did something a little unexpected and different.
I took a trip to The Mutt Room! The Mutt Room is a mini portrait studio run by Brenda Carpenter (the official photographer for Devon events), and is designed so that your 4 legged friend can get a personal portrait session. Now seeing that I can never pass up the opportunity to get my picture taken, I just had to see what it was like to be in a professional studio.
Inside the studio it was filled with super fun dog portraits and there were treats and toys everywhere! This was totally my kind of adventure.
Brenda said I was a natural behind the camera as I showed her all of my amazing poses. I can hardly contain my excitement to see the results of my photoshoot – I’m sure my photos will make all the ladies swoon!
And now that I’m officially a pro behind the camera, I may just have to get an agent and start booking magazine shoots. I have no doubt you’ll see me on the cover of Vogue and Sports Illustrated someday soon!
P.S. Brenda does personal portraits of your pets! Check out her website to see how to book!
Being a Blogger (and facebook celebrity) pretty much means that I spend a lot of time locked in my office writing away. Only up until recently my blogging space wasn’t really up to my amazing design standards. So after some begging and pleading, and a few sad puppy faces, Mom and Dad agreed to give my office a makeover.
Welcome to my new office, won’t you join me for the tour?
Fabulous right? The best parts are in the details, because it’s quite obvious that my personal style (and overall good looks) have taken over the space completely….
A is for Ammo and everything that is awesome!
My Reserve Champ ribbon from the Keystone Dachshund Races last year proudly hangs on my cork board along with my favorite photo of me and Minnow the Chincoteague Pony.
Everything about my new office is happy and bright….just like me!
At the end of the day, the most important thing is the function – and after taking it for a test spin, my new office passes the Ammo the Dachshund standards test.
Suddenly I’m inspired to be way more creative – building more rocket packs, digging more holes, and painting more pictures.
There’s adventures to be had right outside my window!
Just as soon as I finish my afternoon nap!
Tuesday is my “Monday” at the shop, as mom and I reluctantly say goodbye to our weekend and head back to work. Mom’s always super busy on Tuesdays. Placing orders, answering e-mails, framing, and doing other businessey things that totally bore me. Yesterday was no exception while mom spent several hours updating the Studio’s online shop.
This is what I looked like while I waited patiently for the inevitable “break time” – which means a walk and playtime to me!
But in the end a little bit of me did shine through on the shop update…
…by way of my adorable face in a series of photobooth art! I know, I’m such the super model right?
Every shop needs a little “Dachshund” to make you smile! Don’t you think?
