It was really tough waking myself up early to head to the expo so I could man the booth, so mom served me breakfast in bed every morning.
This particular hotel was pretty nice – except my bed could have been a little cushier. When you work hard all day it’s nice to have a comfy place to rest your head at night. But, not to worry – I’m an expert at hotel bed fluffing.
Check back tomorrow to find out what I did all day at the Expo!Â
It’s no surprise that I’m no stranger behind the camera lens. In fact, I’ve had mom’s camera shoved in my face since I was about 8 weeks old. Not that I’m one to complain much – usually when the camera comes out so do the cookies! So during my dapper doxie photoshoot the other day, mom filmed a little “behind the scenes” segment….mostly she was testing out the new video feature on her new camera, but regardless the motive – it caught some of the real action on camera.
Yes, I may have had a barking fit for more cookies at one point, but doesn’t every super model get at least one day to be a diva?
Even though this video was posted on my Youtube Page last year, I’m pretty certain I never shared it on the blog. Mostly because it’s embarrassing for certain Dachshunds involved. I will not mention any names.
Either way, I hope it gave you a good chuckle today.
As the countdown to Christmas begins the shipping & receiving of packages at the shop starts to pick up. Good thing I’m a master at unpacking boxes. What would my mom do without me?
You might remember the toy Hamster I got last Christmas from my Dad…..well he must have known that it’s the Holiday season again, because he’s returned!
I’m not sure where he was hiding all this time, but when mom was moving some stuff around at home I found him! And boy did we have some fun playing together this weekend! Just see for yourself…
P.S. Over the weekend mom helped me make some updates to my website! Yipeee! Check out the new About, Gallery, and Press Pages!
Sometimes when I’m at the farm I get the itch to wrestle and run like crazy. Sadly, sometimes my pal Trooper isn’t there to wrestle with me – so usually I find the next best thing, one of the cats!
Unfortunately the cats don’t always always feel the same way I do.
P.S. If you haven’t already seen it, I’ve got my new 2012 calendar available for purchase in my online shop! You’ll get to see my happy face all year long!
My day started off pretty regular, but then my bestest pal Trooper came to spend the day with me at the shop.
We pretty much did the normal stuff….
…you know, taking turns wearing the party hat and trying to eat each other…..
….I swear I won the match! And not just because it was my Birthday!
After work I headed out to the farm where Minnow and all my pony friends sang Happy Birthday to me! I won’t lie, I made them sing it twice just for kicks.
Then back at home I FINALLY got to open my Birthday gifts from mom and dad.
Mom baked me some very special Birthday Bones and I got some new toys to play with too!
Just in case you are wondering, no I’m not going to share.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday on my Facebook Page! I feel so loved! And don’t worry, Birthday week isn’t over yet – I still have a whole bunch more fun in store!
I had to interrupt Birthday week for a minute to make a special announcement…..
HAPPY 3 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MOM & DAD!
And on a side note, had I been invited to your wedding (nevermind the fact that I wasn’t born until the day after) you could have had a whole slew of adorable photos of me crashing the party just like this one…
Stop giving me the evil eye Minnow!
You can check out a video of Minnow attending the wedding over on the Trick Ponies’ Blog today. And yes, I am pretty jealous that I wasn’t in attendance.
